Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Hoppy Bob and I went out for a look see. A few of the mob turned up.

Used my new O2 Loft 6.6 on the JP 126.....wind was fairly ordinary but improved

as the day wore on. Storm come thru about 3-30 and some gusts hit 25 knots.

Luckily none of us were on the water .....Kel decided to go out and give it a go

.....maybe not the best decission he has ever made.

Good after good company ..times a little slow!!

Holloway's Beach, QLD, AU

Fun session with Jason and Freddy, Used Bindi's AHD Free diamond 77 with an old 46cm course race fin as the wind looked dodgy for the beach, in the end it came up to a steady 15 to 20 which made going off the wind challenging at times.

Good FunCool

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Got a session in late in the day hit water about 5oclock on trusty 101 and burnt out 7.3m north sail 42cm fin.Tide was in and water was chopped up, wind started with with too much east in it and was a bit patchy, but soon swung south and turned to a nice late arvo breeze 15 to18 kts, could of played a bit harder but was happy giving Simone one of the local girls a bit of a thrashing, cheers. Nice to see some of us getting out this weekend.  Sorry to hear about the GPS Troppo, but as Bob said, try and save to card once it dries out (put it in a bowl of uncooked rice with the back open - the rice absorbs all the moisture)

snags, driving down the freeway @ 100km/h with gps in hand slot open forcing air into gps is better then a bag of rice overnight. in fact the rice trick did absolutely bugger all.

Hey Ben, you were meant to take the rice out of the bag Wink  Nice thinking on hanging GPS out of window - do you think you could post the freeway session - we need the points. Wink

PS - Nice numbers for the ocean too.

PPS - I've been neutered as well.
