The chalenge for today was to get a 30 on my 9.5m speed sail
Wind was once again fairly fluffy, couple of gusts here and there but lot of holes, I didn't think I'd need to SLW so went with the 76. Gave the 9.5cm max down haul which is about 12mm more than what I normally run.
First run got a 29 and thought hey this 30 may be possible after all, then spent the next 40 mins trying to match my original speed, was playing around a lot with mast foot and boom settings. Managed to sneak the 30 on the first of my last runs and a few more 29's.
Kept picking up weed on the pointer which wasn't helping. Packed up when the wind started picking up could have changed down and gone quicker but I'd had a great session and could quite happlily go home satisfied with the day so I did.
For the people out there as well, Robin Webby and Shane all had smiles so it seemed a good day for all

Nice cruise on the small kit. Yet again i was enticed to rig small as there were lots of white things on the water. Spent few enjoyable hrs just powered up. The new 102 is a gybing machine. I think in 20+knts it will be an alpha machine. Today was all about getting to know the new 7.0m and 102. i tried the 38venom but the 36F1 was faster and it felt heaps better up wind, down wind and gybing. Its a superb combo for comfort and control.

Waited very patiently, conserving my energy for a late one at the beaver. Worked out ok, just rigged too big.. Over powered once the wind kicked up a couple of knots. Super flat run, and only 5 kiters out at 6 pm. Loads of fun.

4683 days ago 7.5 servern overdrive and rrd 112 freerace started out on the 6.7 o/d but realised after 1 run was under powered so went for the 7.5 o/d which ended up being a good move as I had a good powered up sail for a change. Elmo was blasting around on the N/P race 9.5 making it look easy nice looking sail
