Made sure I arrived early today, learnt my lesson Saturday after missing the best of the wind. Wouldn't have mattered in the end as the wind was still building as I left. Was a good session with Jerry, Alex & Bondy. Bit overpowered on the 5.8m and 106 freestyle board. 5.2m would have been the better option but it looked lighter when I rigged.

Got there after the others, but still had a great time.

Must re-do the non skid on the old screamer. My back foot kept sliding off mid jibe. Very disconcerting!

1st time I've tried the X9 mast with the Combat 5m. It seemed to rig a bit better and felt nice on the water.

Great day to be on the water.

-When I was leaving there were all these people setting up some relly old boards including Astro Rock a Presto and an F2 Xantos 295. (made my screamer look quite modern!!)

Mistral Screamer 83lt, Combat 5m, 25cm freestyle fin.

Good speeds on the Evo Alex. Was good to see you on the water today, along with Jerry and Bondy of course.

A lot of weird looking spikes. Never seen them like that before.

Maybe your gps was hanging under your arm or somthing?

I still dont know how you hung on to the 5.8 on a 104L board for so long!  I think you should be the captain!!

Thanks Juergie, for the lend of the X3 boom. It felt really good and got me on the water.

Naa, yOur doing a great Jerry! Only thing I can put it down to is the sails. Huge range. Problem is, there still a handful in the gybe. Better to rig smaller I think. Next time. I think the board was the main problem though, felt big in that chop and not the most forgiving interms of comfort. Regarding the gps spikes - I think your right as I did have to re-adjust half way through.

Nice speed Bondy, and impressive alphas Jerry and Bondy. Jerry - I would have finally beat you on distance if I had worn my gps from the start!

It just wasnt ment to be Evan Wink you got me on speed though.

Bondy you certainly gave Jaks boom a test, I watched you for a while when I had finished, that was a long run out with an ali boomSurprised

Yes. A few times I went along way out to have a crack at a NM, only to find that the wind dies half way in and stuffs it up.

It did cross my mind that if something broke, it'd be a long swim.

I was very gentle with JAKS boom, though. No jumps. just cruising back and forth.

Hopefully the carbon one will arrive soon.

KGB's Evo speed was good. I thought Evo's were meant to be slugs!

Nice going guys in what looked a great day. Was planning to come out today to watch / take pics but the boss insisted I better rest my foot after a busy day yesterday. Good to see that KGB has dusted off his boards and joined the session. Wink

We had big tune out at home beach. Windy from before 9am till late. Plenty of jumps and freestyle moves at times for some. Even Adam was on his Kode. A huge day, very stuffed.

I don't think any of us bothered with a GPS, not a speed day but a bump and jump day, though our ks would have been very high. Yesterday Adam had the Isonic 76 out.

Sailed at Bono with half the crew_great day on the Starboard Evo 80 and 5m sail

Didn't have the GPS on as it looked a bit light to start with but after 1st run came in nice and strong so should have put it on.Undecided

Good bump and jump day.Laughing

Hopefully we can stay off the bottom of the ladder for the rest of the month at least!

Good luck with your new job Urs, I could use a new job to but that would cut into my windsurfing time Frown
