R II 7.8; RRD X-F 102; Choco FB 40 @ melville

Finally a bit of after work breeze, though gusty and didn't last all that long...could have rigged 7.0 earlier but wanted to try the new 7.8 and Blueline. Rigged well and went very nicely...good first outing considering the conditions...and no broken mast!

Exocet Cross 104L with 7.0M T-bird & 38 Vector

Changed to a 34cm Volt but was no good on the 104L board

Changed to the 94L Cross PE with the Volt & felt good

I then tried the 34cm EX & it felt better again

Great to be powered up for a change although it did get gusty towards the end

For a minute there I thought I had done really well Clipped Nelson around the ear & told him he had posted as me

Nice to have a decent sail, I was a bit underpowered at first but soldiered on.

The water was also a little cold, still good
