Amazed to get a 28kt run in today.

Loft 8.6 Racing Blade. JP SuperX 104L, 44cm Select fin was toooo big, so ended up with 35.5cm.

The loft is so powerful it bent my boom extension arm. Argh.

What to do, what to do...

I ended up deciding to go to Kyeemagh for the better wind. Great fun blasting around through the bumps. Laughing

...one more thing. Please stop sailing 20m behind and 20m downwind and forcing me into the runway FFS.Yell

Canton Beach, NSW, AU

Quick stealth mission up the coast to catch up with the boys. Lots of texts & calls this morning. peeing down in Sydney so I finally pulled my finger out and bolted up the F3. Pretty light when I got there but rigged up and ended up being a really sweet sail. Water level was either low or more weed than usual as I was continually hitting huge clumps. Changed fins which helped and then fanged around having drags with the lads.

Had an idea to get a decent Nm in but buggered that when I gybed at the wrong marker buoy so Nm has a crappy gybe in it. Thought I might have an Alpha as well but slowed down in a patch of weed. Fun sailing with Spence, Pugs, Millsy, Pete, Karl and a late cameo from Mick. Rain, squalls and bloody weed but lots of fun. 5 x 10 was 28.59, 28.58, 28.34, 28.17, 27.89 so it was at least consistent for a bit.

First time over 30 since I did my knee which is nearly 3 months ago so Im stoked with the days numbers, pretty sore now. Good to catch up with the boys.

Falcon 121, 7.8 RSR Evo III 7.8, F/O 36 & 32 weedy's.

Starboard Formula 160, VMG M75 &  VMG K74(cut down), NP EVO II 10.7

Good southerly and some great racing yesterday up there. Thanx to the Marmong club. Tried the new M series fin in the old board and felt a lot faster. Can't wait to get some more time on the water with it. Conditions in the last 2 races too much for me on the 10.7, bailed out in the last race, but had made a decent go of heading round twice in the third race as I ran to the line with T. Ford. Unfortunately I was a tad too side wind and flighty, which made for a decent splash and some good entertainment for the fast guys waiting for us to finish!......Oh well!Undecided

Wow, congratulations on the PBs Grant!

Great mile and alpha.

Mega huge distance Mike, was someone shadowing you on the bay?

Perhaps tomorrow could have better wind than today?
