Elmo (15665km): JP SPeed 54, NP RSR Eiii 7.0m, Elmo chopbuster weed 28cm Long day on the computer listening to the wind, finally flagged the work @4 and raced down there, checked Kiters as I saw Yoyo belting across the sandbar on the otherside and he looked good, decided to check the run saw Stroppo belting aronund in the distance so rigged there. For a change I set up the board with the mast base a lot further back than what I normally do, went for a naughty on my first run, the mast base felt in the wrong spot with the front of the board getting flighty, still persevered with the the run till just in front of the Len howard carpark the board lauched from some chop and I copped a womping, when I surfaced and checked my kit I realised I was in abit of pain with my shoulder burning and sore and thought this can't be good. Adjusted the mast base got my breathe back and carried on down into alpha land where I tried a few more runs but could not find any good water/wind my love affair with Alphaland continues, spent ages trying to get back. Once back decided to give it a squirt in front of the unpowered boat ramp, woo hoo instant results straight away quicker, some how or other the chop here just seems to line up better. Went and tried another Naughty but once again I shot myself in the foot by shifting my mast foot back again, which just f'ed it all up again. couple of chick squirts down there where shock and horror I managed to find some goodish wind and water before working my way back up wind and getting back to base. Fun little session, nice to get out on a speed board for a rare change and be powered up. Be an interesting nights sleep with my chest and shoulder starting to hurt more. Oh well thats the price we pay
Rod (2664km): finally got to go sailingfor the first time this month work has really gotten in the way of windsurfing this month very choppy but was loads of fun Safety Bay, WA, AU
STROPPO (3471km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU had a nice blast today im very happy now im looking at these numbers my 8th go on the fast stuff cant wait 2 do this again was great sailing with the other fellars in a decent wind decrepit grass island has got what the mob needs 4 a local used 6.6 tr4 nude 58 and a 27 delta weed
Mitch (1711km): this was a fairly windy day went out on my 4.5 and got blown away so i cam and changed down to my 3.4 then that was ok with my jp youndgun it turnd out to be a good day after not sailing for so long Safety Bay, WA, AU
ratz (2075km): Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU as bender said skunked again..... 9.0 code red sx xl 135 bring on winter.
Decrepit (22059km): 48cm wavewands, 6.0 avi, 23cm lockwood. Had a ball today, finally got a taste of the grass island's potential, tries some alphas before the wind really kicked in but the high tide made it a bit too choppy for good results, likewise the normal runs, I'm just not much good in chop. So went to play behind the grass Island, only getting 30s for a while, but once Sam and Stroppo joined me, got some 33s.
Oh yeah, Stroppo strikes again!!!!
Sammy (16210km): Hardies with few of us.. the inlet was a great playground despit the storm surge which open new horizon, I sailed like a dag but I had a absolute ball (changing house, been moving boxes the last 4 days, after the sesh I went unload another trailer!!). At the end of the session I tested MikyIsland, very square at start but marble high chop, you dont feel the speed, too easy, just needed another M of sail!! Was not powered most of the session, wind dropped soon I touch the water and came good when we was packing . Nice cruisy session which a nice bunch of mates Well done King Stroppo on the PBs , between you and Crasher that sld put us in good rank if you sail together . Good numbers red muppet.
