Nice bit of wind, a bit religeous but fun none the less. The boys all gave me that slightly mental look when I told them I was rigging the 7.8m but I'm a lazy basket who hates pumping.
Just played around outside the markers doing bear aways up the top end of the course. Was a nice bit of fun but was nowhere near overpowered, a few big holes made it interesting to keep things on the plane.
Last run, took a while to get going, had Crasher go breezing on by hanging shit on me as he went by, gave him over a 150m head start by the time I got going (I really am lazy and hate pumping) reeled him in caught a nice gust which must have been about a foot above the water as the water was glassy, whistled past Crasher who went all silent and who quietly gybed around and slunk of back to shore all quiet like
Was great to see Crasher and Stroppo going at it, theres some serious bragging rights at stake between those two
Hope you have fun tomorrow guys, when you'll be rigging I'll be on a plane the wind will go orf

Quick after work blast. It was nice to be powered up finally. The wind was junky today and combined with a full tide the speeds were nothing special. i was struggling to crack 30 when on my last run i scored a good squirt that lasted about 500m and got a 34display so I kept going for the NM. Nothing felt comfy today. i think it was becasuse the wind was really holey.

4651 days ago 2 categories got to the run a bit early today, wind hadn't really filled in, so went with the avi 6.0, and 53 with the 25cm
Alpha challenge with hardie, stroppo and crasher. too much chop and wind too gusty for me to do any good, gybes also weren't "on song" which didn't help either.
Fastest speed was the 1st downwind run to alpha land, tried a few bear aways there but couldn't break 30 may have done better with the 48 after the wind picked up.
Nice to catch up with Elmo shane and kenno back at Navarra.

4650 days ago 1 categories Safety Bay - Great little session with Rod n Mitch, We pretty much sailed together, Rod has definitly steped up with his speed board n race sail, was looking really good . Mitch got you on A nd NM , we pushed Mitch showing him all the tricks.. he though had no PB!! He has improved a lot n recon he ll crack 30 next summer he just need a smaller fin and some tune up. Well done Mitch on the PBs nd all the nbs, you looked great outhere . I really enjoyed the today session, it was a bit kity but seemed peaceful, even more at the end.
I got my RRD 80L back from Mike which did a really amazing job, REALLY TOP quality repair.( All the bottom from the fin to 1 foot to front was delaminated) I am very desapointed with the quality build of this boards, 2 other people here had issue on the deck, also the foam is a cheap type, and there is no a bit of carbon in it, by making a lite build, they made it weak!! Mike repaired it with compressed foam, 1 l of sandwish, 2 l of fiber, 1 l of carbon. The test drive was successful, took the board everywhere nd he made it so far!! It does feel more stiff so got me worried sometime because the respond in chops. The take off is lighting fast nd it is very jumpy in chops. Board feel great nd solid. THANKS MIKE I own you .
