Falcon 113, 7.8m RS:S, 38cm FO Weedy

Got down there a little late, Steve said it was much better earlier when more West. Very gusty, got a good one which was about 17kn, but only around 12kn the rest of the time I was out, Short sharp sesh. Good to get out though - better than work! Steve and Greg on the water when I got there and they were flying along on the far side of the lake!

Sailing Club,Wallis Lake, NSW, AU. Man what a cold day today. The coldest day this year with the wind chill. Wore my booties and hood for the first time this year. Waited until about lunch time before the wind finally started to look good enough to sail.Typical gusty and holey westerly winds made for a challenging day on water.Gusts were not sustaining very long runs powered up.

Sailed with GTX 6.5, FalconSL104, Curtis weedy, then switched to Hawk 93 and Finworks 11.5 and the same rig, when the wind freshened up a bit later with some rogue gusts. At least it didn't rain!( until pack up time)

WSW 12-20k turning SW 15 and the odd 25k gust. Generally a OK day on water. Monday was definitely better.Matt K ,Peter B, Bill and Anton and a Sydney blow in, Eno on water with me today.

Matt, fortunately that ding on your board is only a small one.Frown Love your new Outback.Nice!Smile

Port Macquarie, NSW, AU jp 92, overdrive 6.7, jp 29cm, Sailed at Blackmans point, Wind very gusty and couldn't get a decent run. Water flat  and location has potention. Like to sail again when the wind is consistent. Only had a spare hour and wind seemed to get stronger as i was leaving, but very patchy.

My new Falcon got blown into a tree when I turned away for a moment and sustained a small crease under the rail which I found opened to the core when I sucked on the wound.  VERY pissed off.... anyway,

New 6.5 GTX, Starboard Futura 101 thanks to Peter for the loan of the board, very comfy board to ride and easy to gybe.  This is the combo the posting is from.  Went down to my small custom board when the wind picked up but too many holes between the gusts.

120 Excite Ride & 5.5 NP Fusion

Freakin work might have stopped me from getting the good wind, but playing in little waves on sunset was still completely blissful.  Sucked in work.  I still had a ball.
