Nice sunny day at Queens Lake with Mark and Phil. W-Sw at 10-18 knots. Fairly consistent at times for a westerly, and felt quite warm for a winters day.

F2 Sx medium, Gaastra 7.0m Gtx race, Jp 31cm weedy.

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU. A very gusty wind but the gusts were nice and flat, and about 20 knots. Really happy with my speed, as the GPS tells me 30.09 knots, even if it wasn't for 2 seconds to register on the challenge. Woohooo! Lots of people sailing, but pretty cold after a while. A great session and sunny as well!

Sailing Club, Wallis Lake, NSW, AU.Falcon sl104 34Curtis weedy, 6.5m Gaastra GTX. Nice sunny Day.Wind blew stronger earlier this morning and settled down to a gusty 15-20k from the W-WSW when we arrived.Low tide and fairly flat and nice in spots. Felt a bit off the pace today.I'm lusting over Chris BP38 weedy.I'll have to get one.

Chris was stoked today with a 30k 1 sec. run logged on her GPS.  Congratulations on the PB. Well done Chris! 32k next!!Laughing

Good speed on the old Falcon today Matt. That GTX looked so good on water!

6.5GTX, 282 Falcon, 32cm Torquay freeride fin.  WSW on and off the plane, got a good gust and went with it while the water was still flat.  Got too bumpy by the end of the reach

That looked like a nice bearaway,Steve. Was it flat? I thought the better peaks would be behind the mud bank, looking at the overlay, but I've not sailed it in that direction.Well done on the 2 sec. Peak, and nice 5 X10sec. avg.Guys

I'll try and come up for a sail soon.I'll hopefully do that from the 9th to 15th of Aug. if its windy.

Well done chris on the 2 sec PB.  Gabe, it was a lucky gust I got, 31kts is still quick as I wasn't anywhere near you until then.   I didn't realise I had my BP 38 weedy in my bag, you could have used it today.  Maybe tomorrow if you want.

Hit Queens with Steve and Mark. Got to play around with Raf's GPS, but bought the wrong memory card (Do'h) so couldn't download any speeds. Nothing too fast though, max 20.40 knts- felt like 40...lol Good fun seshion, if not a little gusty and on and off the plan, but full sun- almost warm- and got to practice a few gybes and water starts. Round two with 2 MB SD card on MondayCool

PS- Cheers Mark for all the GT-31 downloading info. Hope to put it to use on Monday arvo. Thanks again.

Gabe, Steve did get all his good speeds behind the Mud bank. We just sail to the other side so, when you are coming before you hit the flat water you are already doing 25 knots + then hit the flat water. I can sail that week end you will be up here. Cheers! Smile

I'll look forward to it! Matt K has that weekend off too I think.  I mentioned to him about going up to Queen's and he's keen too. I'm sure Peter B would come also.Chris is away with her mum those days, so she won't be sailing. I hope we get some wind then for a good team session.
