Short & sweet SSE 25 mph wind session in Hyannis. Started from Sea Street since Kalmus parking lot was full with cars from an annual 2-day walk. Hawk 95, Matrix 5.5. Swell was nice at first, but developed more irregular chop as we approached high tide. Maiden voyage of the new windsurfing van with exactly 1 board and 2 sails - unfortunately without Nina.

Stared with Falcon 101, 5.8 KA Koncept, Select casper 31, gust come up was over powerd, change to Falcon 89, Vector fin delta speed 23, KA sail 5.0 Koncept. Gust was a bit and down after riging the 5.0.

Over all it was a very nice day, sailing with with the guys.

A lot of short runs between 11:15 and 2:45 on the north side at Fogland. Starboard Carve 99 and Ezzy Infinity 6.0 most of the time but got moving on a Naish Edge 4.5 and Carve 135 for a few runs. Should have taken the 4.5 and the 99 to the south side where the breeze was more southerly and less gusty. Tried the F2 Axis 89 liter with a 6.0 and I am now absolutely convinced that board is going on Craig's List tomorrow.

I was stoopid tired by about 2:00 when I noticed I was missing more jibes than I was making and I was struggling with my water starts. Ketp sailing another 45 minutes. The fastest runs were in the first hour and a half.

Great to see everybody come out for this day! Let's have some more of this kind of wind!
