Falcon 89, KA Sail Koncept 5.0, Delta speed 23 Vector fin.

Wind was up and down at the cove, the gust was not steady for a longer run.

Over all i had a good time.

Took four runs across the river on 2000 vintage Naish 4.5 Edge and a Starboard Carve 99 (been told I would have had better sailing had I jumped on the F2 Axxis 89) from the south side of Fogland with a SSE blowing 18 to 35 at around 1:30. Outgoing tide and incoming wind made for some good sized swells in the middle and especially near the west shore...some were probably three feet high or higher (Maui Scale).

Caught a queer lip near the red nun on the last run back, took a header and came up with a calf cramp. When I got to shore, the coach told me to go do some speed runs on the other side and relax. After 25 or 50 tries of catching the gusts in the flats still on the same 4.5 and 99 Carve, I only broke 29 mph once.  Then on my first run on Dani's rig and I clocked nearly 31 mph . Thanks Dani! And for the impact vest too.

Kalmus SSE, 22 mph increasing to 30. Too choppy for real speed, but lots of fun playing in the swell. Hawk 95, Matrix 5.5 then Manic 4.5.

Freestyle session in Kalmus in SSE with Andy Brandt, Peter, Jonathen, Graham, Jeff, Maui Sails Rick, and others. Mostly on my old Skate 112, Ice 4.7, but a few runs on Peter's Hawk 95 which improved the top speed by 15%.
