Well i haven't sailed since having surgery on both my hands 4 weeks today. Told not to go to work for at least 5 weeks but hey it was windy!

Hmmm that was not ideal my grip is not good and fitness is down tried to tick all the boxes but i have paid for it no chance on the hour! Very surprised on the Alpha and managing to get over 30 knots in the chop,tried for Nm but just had no grip.

Rigged a sail smaller to try and make life easier dont think that worked?

Paying for it now can't pick a beer up without wincing!!!

Thanks to Pete for keeping an eye on me, i can't explain how hard it was and how much it hurt and still does!!!

Nice to get on the water with the speed kit after about 2 weeks. Felt strange for the first half hour after using wave kit at the start of the month for a few days.

Most of the day cruising on the Falcon 111, then tried the W54 with 7.8 and it goes like a rocket, this combo will do 40 knots I think. the W54 gets planing really easy for a 72 liter board, basically if there is enough wind to waterstart with 7.8 then it will get planing.

must try 31 Crossfire next time.
