lao shi (27489km): Got to WW to see the lowest tide I have ever seen with not only rocks showing but all out of the water. The lower car park was closed so parked up the hill and it was looking windy. However usual cheesegraters perth chapter. 0-20knts. Some fun runs through the shallows but a bit daunting on a 32 and not being sure what dangers lurked(never having sailed that low a tide) Quite a few rays skooting along the bottom. Joined by JJ and then Troutty with a flying visit from Shane and Recycle. Alpha a cross over. Steady wind and it could have been PB territory. 25K up! LB6.3, is90,GW32
Windxtasy (2881km): Safety Bay, WA, AU nonose, 4.9 Koncept, 24 elmo weedy A frustrating day. Early on the sand bar was too shallow to attempt speed runs and later... Honestly, I think someone must have been paying kiters to make suicide runs across my path every time I went for a speed run. I had to abort every one! Don't they ever look where they are going in relation to other water users?? Lots of weed problems despite the weedy. Nice to score an alpha PB. First gybes on this board. That front lawn practice paid off! Second best for distance too. I must have been having fun after all. Nice to meet Sammy and catch up with Rod, Mitch and Adam. Mitch, you beat my alpha PB on the weekend, now I've beaten yours. Game on!

Snake (13281km): After work blast at Peli Point starting out on the big gear. Patchy wind today, not the most enjoyable sail but nice to get out all the same. Just when I thought the wind was picking up I put on the 90/6.3, so of course it died away completely...cruel cruel huey Couldn't be bothered to re-rig the big gear so just dogged it for the last hour... JJ (6448km): Point Walter, WA, AU Definitely helps to have patience to sail at WW A few ok but short runs, good to catch up with Norts, Trouty and sail again with Lao. Isonic 86, GPS 6.6, Venom 32
Hardpole (5685km): Mettams to Sorrento - first for this season. Rigged the 5m and 79l - and found that although it was great in the gusts it was not enough the rest of the time. Still nice to get on some bumpy water (I will wash my mouth out).
Well done Anita, sounds like it was a lot of fun down there.
