Sailing in P-bay. Around 30kts of wind, lots of chop, very exhausting. Just not enough energy to put a couple more good runs in. The wind was there...

Nauset Slicks in SE. To southerly for the usual strip, had to sail at the bottom where winds were gustier. My Koncept 5.8 broke when I rigged it, so went out on a wave sail (Ice 4.7) on my Xfire 90, 25 cm Delta WeedSpeed. Jerry Evans came out, too, and had a blast - we should add him to the team. I struggled a bit, and my forearms were toast after a few runs. Got a bit back into it towards the end when I scored the only 30 knot run. The Slicks are fine in SE, although ESE-NNE are better.

Tried my new Ianovated suit, but it was so warm (50 F/10 C) that I did not really need it. It was plenty warm, and a nice suit, but I'll need to put a couple of bottles in the lower arms to stretch the neoprene out a bit. 

All in all, a great warm first day of winter sailing. Even the rain held off until we were done
