Missed the best of the wind this morning but good to get out, wind was pretty crap but there were some 18knt gusts out there to get planning, new 6.3 felt nice but it was 7+m weather, still waiting for my mast so couldn't rig any bigger.Exo RS2  32cm   TR9 6.3m  Lake Bonney,  gusts 18knts somewhere out there.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Today I forgot my harness plus my GPS died.  i'd almost be upset, except Chris lent me a spare harness, and we blasted about for over three hours with my 6.7m/100l/32.5.  Gareth and some others from MB joined us at the end.  i was feling more and more confident as the day wore on, and ended up having the most memorable session for a while.  the GPS died maybe forty mins in so i missed getting the best part of my day on record, but i'm too amped from a great session to care right now.

so happy Christmas everyone (incl. my sailing buddies in the ACT) - hope Santa brings everyone lots of sailable wind.

ps.  serious thanks to Chris S for lending me that harness cause I was screwed!  and your new Patrick board looks quite the weapon!

Pity about your GPS Shane, you were moving alot faster than your numbers show and you would have racked up a decent distants as well......not to worry Thursay is looking good so you can do a repeat performance then.

Will post my numbers for today on Boxing Day.

We will need to talk Chris into putting a GPS on and joining the SA Speed Demons as he will be generating some good numbers with his new Patrik slalom boardSmile
