got a last minute leave pass and bolted to Bog where it was a remarkably consistent 15kts and plenty of punters. over the next hour it climbed closer to 20kts and stayed there. got very chopped up in the gusts, so bear aways were only for those who had lost the will to live.
couldn't crack a 30kt peak, gotta learn to really let it off the leash, but still a good sail.

AB67, KA6.6, 30 LE weedy then F2 SXS 90
Got there and sailed for about an hour on the AB before the guys arrived and came in to change down to the F2. Was keen to get a fast time so as soon as i got up to speed did the big bear away and i'm sure the board and sail and wind conspired to kill me as i went over the front doing 30 on the flat and landed smack on my back. It knocked the stuffing out of me, bending the harness hook and snapping the harness line, ripping the paqua off my arm. I reckon that was the worst stack so far. I think Jaques board is use to 40 knots and thought it would get the slow sailer off its back. Anyway, sailed around on it a bit more carefully and noticed my heel was leaving a water trail so might make the footstrap adjustment that Jimbob did to his. Was pretty worn out and changed up to the AB to sail out the session.
Tricky.Simon and Anthony were enjoying the conditions as well, it seems like we,ve been waiting forever for some decent wind to start the year off and today we got it.
Tricky suplied the refreshments after and it topped off a good day

4369 days ago 1 categories Decided to rig big & see what I could handle, managed a 29knts on the 7.9 but it was not balanced & the wind seemed to be building so came in & rigged the 6.6 koncept & loaded the kinetic 57 with a 30 LE Weedie. Was under done for the first run or so could not seem to get a planing jibe working. Lifes good & the wind filled a bit & was all good. Pay back is a b*#@h it is my turn to call Jeff a CrashTest Dummy as he was having lots of fun training the F2 SX, it did buck him off on more that 1 occasion
Stansbury 15knts filling to 20, KA Race 7.9 CA 101 36 Lessacher Duo Weedie, KA Koncept 6.6 Kenitic 57 30 LE Weedie

Sailed 6.8 Switchblade on ISonic 94 around 12.30pm but increasing wind soon put a stop to that.
Tried to sail the OES GST80 with the 5.1 Blade but had great difficulty getting into the straps and my front foot kept wanting to disengage giving a very uneasy feeling that disaster might strike at any moment . Seems like I've got a lot of work to do with this board
