Adam (7212km): Safety Bay, WA, AU NP RS Racing EVO V 7.0, Futura 101, Lessacher 28cm Weedy Good fun session at Safety Bay, whilst there were some good gusts out there none turned up when I was wanting to charge down the run
Rod (2664km): nice afternoon session after work good way to finish the day started on 110 ltr excite ride with 6.2 RSS till the wind picked up then changed onto 74ltr tabou manta to end the session on a good note Safety Bay, WA, AU
Elmo (15665km): Tabou Thunder 70cm, NP RSR Eiii 7.0m, Elmo +10º 35cm & JP weed 36cm. Did a Hardie and rigged to what I thought it would end up as rather than rig for the conditions Finally got to see Simon the saddist this morning to get my back sorted out which I stuffed up just before christmas so was a bit tender out there tonight. The 7.0 was ok in the gusts enabling some small bear aways but nothing fancy, the tide was much better tonight with the area around the outer sand bank ever so nice. Unfortunately I was having all sorts of settings issues tonight, don't know what drugs I was on but I couldn't rig my kit to save my life tonight. admittedly I would have been a whole lot better served with a 7.8m to get through the MANY light patches. Still it was a fun night, comiserations to Stroppa and Luke wholike true masochists came down to watch whilst on call and being unable to sail. Some fun runs with the Kaos69 fella, although not happy with the way I set things up it was still heaps better than experimental pile surgury.

Tomski (6938km): Safety Bay, WA Reflex II 7.0, Mistral 95, Vector WS Slalom 30 & Mistral 112, Vector WS 36 First day off, home for 3 weeks. Started on the 55w speed board but felt under finned. Changed to a bigger fin still felt like I was hanging under the boom. Got the 112 and got confortable. The vector weedies are so controllable. Love that board and fin combo. Thought I should probably register a NM for the comp I organized........in 1st place for safety bay.......till tomorrow I suppose. Good to catch up with you Adam (did you leave a grey screw driver and boom Chinnook boom clam skinny adaptor) I have them if someone has lost them

Mitch (1711km): good sail got to the end of one of my runs and hit a kiter with the end of the sail shame he was so close 5.5 v6 NP tabou manta 74lt 24 weed fin been a while since i have had a good sail like felt really comfortable Safety Bay, WA, AU
Stu (279km): Safety Bay, WA, AU JP FSW 92; NP Tempo 6.2; JP Weed 31 A great days sailing, especially before i flew back to work. Was having a lot of spin out issues with the JP seaweed fin so came in and changed to the 31 - much better. I still think i have a heavy back foot and push the fin out too much to get up wind Had a couple of big stacks jumping the chop in Warnbro sound but landed a few which made it alright. Started to get a bit overpowered by the end of the session and arms were gone so called it quits. Again, thanks to all that have helped out with the questions and advice. |
