Asked the guys to move the north cable, so they pulled it in for the arvo (now in the middle of the pond, eastern end, not on the bar). Super smooth but not quiet enough grunt to really fly. Great to meet Col (big congrats on the PB's). Rod doing the PB thing again well done mate!! Great session

Nearly forgot........Mitch, I don't bring my gear Holden, sat on the beach because he couldn't be bothered, bit tired, had his panties on......

Just a quick but fun sail after work with a couple other members of the mob. Would have been nice to have got out a little earlier in the day when the better wind was about but thems the breaks.

After listening to the wind howl all arvy went down th run after work, hmm didn't look super windy still I went and rigged the 6.2 and originally had it plugged in on the 54 Manta.

Came back in and changed up to the Thunder after on Nm run, just to much like hard work getting the board going, The thunder straight up went better although realistically should have had the 7m up and a 36 fin on, still it was a bit of fun.

Had a bit of a play down in Alpha land with Strop and had a couple of nice squirts down there as well as some nome nice gybes (for me).

Wind faded and decided to head back, optimistically did one more Naughty attempt but only peaked at 32knots so decided to flag it.

BOO_bays- milking that breast again!! Epic long day.. where the I start.. I thought I will have a lite day, not quite Wind never stopped, this morning I left for the spot at 7.30 as I could not tell exactly the direction, but it seemed right
On the spot the tide was low the way we like it, wind 22knts direction WRONG!! dam! I thought fakit I take it coz here U never know.
Setup the small kit, 9ish up I go, make my way up nicely powered on the 5, had few laps around then had a crack a the run.. no good
Tide is going down WTF!! cannot cross the small bar no more, wind fading, noway I can make it back, I am trapped, 10ish I walk to the big sandbar..
I drop the gear have look around, tide still going down, so low you cannot sail anything (I never seen the tide that low), all bars full exposed!!
Dam the day is faked all I had on the screen is 33.7 for a touch of run.
What the I do now? Well I thought lets kill time and pray the gods! So for the next 2h I walked all the exposed area and cleaned up by removing all the dangerous branches.
Then I walked the run and installed few markers, 1 a the point (now you can point straight to it coz u see it) and 3 after the long, also I made the start up point higher so you can see it better.
As I was about to pick up a 1m stick I realised it was a sea-snake!! I teased it but wasnt reacting much, look like he was dying, it was too far from water!! so I picked it up and put it in water.. within 5 mins he had recovered and slowly went away!
11.30 wind still wrong picking again, tide start to go up.. 12.30 Getting angry, all I have is the tube of Zink and 2lts of water mmh dam! Wind start to swing.. 13.30 wind is right and going up as the tide too, still too shallow to go anywhere..
2.30 the wind is right and is cranking tide still too low, (I am getting a touch impatient!!) COME ON, Pleeeease.
3.30 I am starving, the wind has picked up to 24-28 knts, the tide is finally high enough to pass the sandbar!! ppppffff thanks for that!
All I had was 1h window to do it, after 3 epic runs due to the tide again the strong wind even the tide was right it was terribly choppy and dangerous (people that have sailed it knows what I am taking about!!)
Completely lited on the 5 I was getting airborned at the corner, faaaake that was crasy, I did 6-7 runs and called it, the run back I shiit myself how crazy full sail open it was! ppppf what the faking day!! Better that working anyway
Sorry for the long text, hard to explain in 2 lines. Today was 5h of waiting on a sandbar for 1h of dangerous sailing, and well burned by the sun!!  Happy Days
Well done on the PBs guys.

Went on another alpha mission today hoping to nut out the markers that Tom and Dale put out with a bit of trial and error over the last week or so finnaly cracked it today those markers really made the difference for me five of my alphas were pbs one happy chappy great stuff Tom on talking to the beaver destroyers you made it a better place and safer to sail top stuff

first post for a while as had all my computer gear knocked out in a thunderstorm mid December,lightning strike that took out the phone lines in my street.had power surge protection but nothing on the phone line=DOH!

Got to melville at 3:30 ,wind looked good (for the river) so decided to try the small gear.first few runs were good but then it started to back off and then dogged around for a while before calling it quits. Surprised how good the old(18year) leading edge fin felt will put it back on top of the choice list again for this combo-whenever I get the wind?

not sure why realspeeds not showing the 1 hr and NM data?(it's a fresh install)
