Lake George,

Always new it was going to be epic today with the forecast, but it was more of a trip to see what kind of condition the lake is in. Few guys went out on the speed gear, but i decided to just go out on the Slalom gear and enjoy the conditions, always good sailing over here we just need some more sea breazes.

Left Geelong at 4am and arrived at Beachport just after 9am. Drove out to cockies point stopping to do some sand graffiti for the SA boys and was meet by the change blowing in from the SW. Jimbob suggested the spit to be a better option so the convey headed that way (slowly!). Lots of standing around trying to figure out what the wind was doing. Went and picked up some squalls with the rain fronts and then headed in for lunch.. The others didnt understand the team statement we made with our cremaster smocks and then went out for another after lunch session...'

Was just speaking to Chris Dimond about strange sound in my boom , when bang - broke at head. limped back to shore. Lake george is awesome but you have to walk a looong way to get to deep water. Dragged my damage rig out of the water and by that time just couldn't be bothered to walk out again...

Jacques and I decided we'll drive home and after some stops for some tucker got back home around midnight... shagged!

Great to meet Mike (decrepit) form WA and to catch up with the other south Aussie plonkers!
