As I was leaving to come home Greg just came in and said Adam has done over 36 Knots. He will be stocked!!

Greg stuffed his fin by hitting the post on the mud bank. Steve we will have to mark it properly before some one gets hurt or wrecks their board.

Queens Lake Speed Records!

A note to the Captain: Nice touch with the piccy Mark.H. I know when I type that I speak for all of the Marauders when I say thanks for being such an awesome Captain with your encouragement, and also for going the extra mile with the graphics each time we post, team facebook page and stuff like above. Top job mate, keep it up the good work Cap, and again, congrats on your 2 PBs......yesterday was a great day to get it too as it wasnt an easy day, so to get 2 PBs off it was pretty special.

On the subject of the submerged pole that took out Gregs fin - damn it made a mess - got me thinking how tragic it would be if someone fell off at the wrong time and impailed themselves! Very slim chance I know, but we cant say that it won't happen, cos the chance of Greg also hitting it with his fin was also prob one in a million given how big the lake is. I will buy a bright piece of floaty spongue or pool tube and tie to it as a warning of where it is....will attach it next time I am down, or alternatively Mark if you sail before me I can give it to you to attach. I haven't been close enough to the pole to see if there are any holes in it to attach something to it or not....... MArk or Steve do you know? Was thinking rope, but I have some cable ties, perhaps they would be more durable?

Yesterday highlighted what a danger it could be. We need to keep the lake as a safe place of joy and thrills

I hit the Post to with my fin , but only slightly damaged it. I thought I had put a hole in my board .The Post is usually out of the water. Due to the Hight tide and rain water the post was submerged.

I talked to Mark J today he said one afternoon after work we could mark it with some Orange Conduit and put a flag on the top of it. Go out in Marks Boat.Mark has some flags. Tie it on with cable ties. Plus, Mark the other end of the mud bank the same way but hit the Conduit down into the mud with a Hammer. 

I am only free Mon, Tues after work or next week end?( water will be lower) This must be done.  (Steve should have some conduit or I will buy some.)

Conduit, great idea, way more durable. Flags as well, excellent!!!!!! This means that with better vision for the start of the bank we can plan the run in over the mudbank from a distance for max speed etc........ and a boat to do it all in, even better. Didnt know you hit it as well Capt. Two strikes in one session - what are the chances? bloody hell!!!!!   With everyone heading to the flat water on the mud bank these days it just highlights even more now how dangerous it is in deep/heavy/muddy water on the bank. Lets fix her up ASAP before the Autumn winds!

Salt n peppa has an mri this week. May need an op. If what the Dr thinks, may be off water for 6m. Be sure to post salty when you know for sure

Wow , thats no good . I thought i was in serious trouble after i twisted my knee . Had a MRI and all clear , THANK GOD !!!!!!!!

Hope she has just twisted it badly like i did !!!!
