Gusty Melville but the gusts had a bit behind them today. Caught me out occasionally with a couple of over the handleabr moments (back is already feeling it now). Worth it though.

Sonic 85, Koncept 5.8, JP Speed 28cm (tried the 26cm but it was too small in the chop and had some big spinouts - went back to the 28 after a few runs)

Hey all, first GPSTC post and I didn't even sail with the right gear... 20-25kt looked a little too much like hard work on my usual Futura 111/7m Severne Turbo so witched to the freesex for some bump and jump / downwinders near the sandbar. I'm out sailing straight after work most windy days so looking forward to meeting some of the crew.

Cheers

Tim

Good breeze most o the time. Heaps of crew out

Seemed to kick around 5pm but had to leave to attend to normal life duties

a bit over cooked today , sail felt a bit like a rag , de-rotating in the gusts .then back on the beach I noticed the top cam batten was busted.
