Rigged small due to choppy conditions and lack of energy

Just a cruisey sail so happy for the numbers maybe I shouldn't try so hard next time

What a beautiful day! I had a great couple of sessions. As usual the boat chop in the middle of the day was extreme and made for some serious joint bashing! Late afternoon it all calmed down a bit and I put my set-up to the test at the top of it's wind window. Hung out with Benny, Trouty, Patrick, Julien and even saw Steve Hill after his long absence from the water.

Hey Wannabees. Another new member on our team, Cupsta (Dave Wilmot) mad keen wavesailor and ready to try his hand at the GPSTC.

Please make him welcome and introduce yourselves.

Last time I was home I mentioned the idea of a BBQ for the wannabees to meet the new members and a general catch up. I will be going back to work on Thursday but will endevour to organise this for when I am next in town, Most of you I have contact details for and will try to be in touch to arrange details and finalise a venue and time. A suggestion is down at Peli we can have a BBQ, with the families of course.Smile The kids can play at the playground while we eat, drink and be merry. If we are luck there might even be some wind for a sail afterwards.Any of ideas please post here and we can get the ball rolling.

It has been a great summer so far, with lots of us busting PB's and a quite a few new members (possibly more on the way). Keep up the good work Wannabees and i hope to see you all getting some TOW soon.
