canton, took a while for the southerly to arrive from Sydney & when it did there was too much east for best angle. Didn't feel that fast, may have been the ancient seatrend 276 I was using, an oldie but a goldie.  szeatrend 276 & CASL 62, 6.6 sail, 24 & 28 fins.

Exocet Sting 134, Mauisails TR8 8.4, Select RS7 51cm - Wind S 12-15 kts

Hot and still all day and didnt expect to get a sail, but at about 4pm southerly finally made it through.  Had some great runs on the 8.4 - its my new favourite sail!  Great fun and a perfect fit for the board/fin combination.  Feels like a much smaller sail, you only notice the extra boom length when gybing.

Rescued a kiter who crashed his kite and lost everything.  He was grateful to be rescued and I think he'll be buying a life jacket very soon.
