Peel Inlet, WA, AU

Nice session at Hardies with a good crowd but my forearms inflated early and ran out of steam after 30kms. First high wind session since Shark Bay in December.

Had two 41s on the dial and two 40s for 10sec. The rest were 37, 36 and 35.

CA SP47, 2013 KA Race 6.3, KA 23 Assy.

Bloody big bend in the nm - should have stayed on a bit more!!

First sail for a month and a pretty nice one down at the Beaver. Plenty of breeze - probably nudging 30knots - but not overly flat and dangerously crowded with an assortment of freestylers, beginners and the usual swarm of baggers.

Got a bag of 39's on the 6.3 so changed to the 5.7 which promptly produced two more 39s before finally nailing a solitary 40 peak - looks much better on the scoreboard.

Good sailing with Slowy, Snake, Scarrgo, Chris P, Anita and others once again

Manta 49, CL/KA 23, Warp 6.3 & 5.7 later

beaver! Storm surge made it pretty rough but there was some wind in the gusts. 5.5m '09 proto, M63, CL21 weed. One good gust for a 41.4 10sec. Fastest alpha was a surprise happening at the top of the run on the western side. Wind faded pretty early and after gasbagging for a bit decided to rig the 6.4m e5, M95, CL26 for a play. Sailed up to the island to have a crack at NM on the way back but was super underpowered for half of it- timed with a 16kt lull. Hit almost 40 when I got to the beaver though... good fun.

Have not really paid mutch attention  to the naughty apart from the ocean 30 challenge but Toms comp has created a bit of intertest. Should heat up a bit from here on inWink .Nice speed captain given the state of the run, would assume the beaver was a little unruly also ,nice work guys.

Great job, team!Cool

Nice speeds, Ado, 25 and Snides!

Naughty PB from Recycle!

Stringer, smashing the 25+ alpha!

And as always, MR Boat dominating the Beaver!

I did stop in at Hardie's (with pie in hand) after a ripper little session at Avy. Saw you all fanging around but couldn't summon any enthusiasm for the slalom gear in the car!Embarassed
