Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU

What a day!!! Victory at sea so watched JP and Keahi smash Brownwater at Fishermans Beach with some awesome jumping by Jason and wave riding by both. Back to WSNS to cook a BBQ lunch and then down to Jammo for a quick sail in some ballistic conditions. Never sailed this spot in the wind direction but it was bloody good fun!!! Most guys were on 4.7 wave sails so my 6.4 was a handful but awesome in the short slingshot bear aways on the weed bank.

Didnt have one run under 31 knots and most were 33-34 knots. Got one smoker to finally crack 35 knots and in those conditions I was wrapped!!! felt so good to snag it at last. Horrible conditions with torrential rain and huge squalls. Gusts were savage but once you were going it was sweet to just push hard off the wind. 35.48 on the dial.

Falcon 99, Evo IV 6.4, 24cm re-shaped weedy.

Choppy and scary. So nice to have a longer board in these conditions. Down the Runway in a Easterly is crap, too gusty and flucky.

Late session and the wind had dropped off big time, so ended up with the Falcon 99, 6.7m H2 and 32" fin. Good in the puffs, but a lot of debris int he water from runoff! First time out at Marmong. The locals had been overpowered with 4.7's earlier!

Larko!!!! That is a huge PB fo Narrabeen Lake & those conditions Surprised Cool

For those that don't know the location & why it is "affectionately" known as Lake Dangerous....

The red line on this pic is 350m long with sandbars in front and at side (& weed)
