Nice public holiday sail on an Easterly at Hardies.  Evets, Hardy, Sam and Binny showed up from the team, as well as a couple of new faces who I hadn't seen before.

Great early morning sail at Navarra with Nebs, Hardie, Sam and Chris of Pinnas (only Chris and partner brave enough to do the early bit )

Truth is it was v cold in the water compared to just 12 hours before. Rigged 6.5 Tush Raptor on Fibrespar plus F2 Ride 277 and Elmos JP weedy (need to return this to Elmo soon.... is it any consolation that some of your kit got out today even if you could not Elmo??)

Enjoyable sail until Ben and the other arrived and rigged: invoked the god of wind by saying they had missed the good part of the day. Sure enough as soon as they launched the wind picked up and it was great: suddenly the tush was not rigged quite right however had lunch booked so had to pack in at 10:30.

Early gybe or two went ok then lack of the folowing caused problems: consistent wind, skill, ability to do what I know full well I should do, and then too much wind (tush became a handful when the wind piced up).

Nebs: video of my gybing is a great idea please: lets do it when there is some wind and the water is not going to cause any of your bits to freeze )

First time on an Easterly at Hardies early in morning, lot of crabies around with nets ,pots and boats.

Not my favorite sesh (I don't enjoy much gusty wind), but I had good time with the boys
