Webby (1927km): Sailed at Safety Bay with tushie 5.5 rock choco 33 fin Isonic 94 board Wind at S/B was good picked up to about 23 kts at about 5pm so got some good runs in bit better times this time
Pepe47 (7101km): jp fsw 92l 6.5 v6 31cm jp weedie. Fantastic day with everyone coming to crab country for the team challenge presentation. Largest armada I've seen on the estuary. Way too good to miss.
Hardie (20239km): Great day, this is only 1 file of 3 today, don't know how to combine them. Brilliant effort by our Steve!! Sorry to Diva Mickey for wrecking her day Too tired for more.
Adam (7212km): At Hardies today for presentation, started with 7.5 V8 on Isonic 101 and FO 340 weedy, changed down to 6.6 Koncept on JP slalom 84 with my sawn off FO weedy 23 cm Hit Claudes rock at 33 knots fortunately i just bumped over it taking a decent sized gouge out of the bottom of the fin. Good to meet a few of the crowd that showed up today and even better of the wind to show up
Bender (19030km): Iso 86(had one run on SX M, X-15 6.4m, 30cm bentonic Crabland prize draw day. Great turnout good to catch up with everyone. Today i was slow nothing felt right. Joined the big guns in a couple of races to the platform and back. Could hang in there down wind but gear was too small to fly up wind.
man of (2851km): Great Afternoon!Fun racing and good to see everyone.Lets have this more often.
Decrepit (22059km): great day, so nice having so many people around. tried my revamped 23cm symetrical fin with th 6.0. very pleased with it, even after i modified it on one of the reefs. Yes I was another victim of fin carnage day.
Elmo (15665km): JP Slalom IV 104L, NP RSS MkII 7.2m, JP Freeride weed 36cm. Got down to the prize draw after 3pm, had a chat got my poo together and rigged quicky for the splash and dash race, no testing no tuning, 1 hastily repaired fin, rocked up to the start line when the start was shouted out, cool rolling start, barreling along Claude coming upwind on the inside of me when he bgets beside me about 3m away the fin lets go for the first of many many many furken many times. Changed to trusty old 36cm fin get out for the 3 run, cool, a lot better great start up in the top 5-6 1 km away from the platform front arm gives out as I haven't tuned the lines, fluffed the gybe struggled to get the sail up with the tired arm, watched a load of people go by. Went for some blatts after that as I was using a rudder and there was a very low tide stayed well outside the run, SSsswwwwweeeeeetttttttt had a ball. Stunned watching the stunt men belting through the run, it was a bloody low tide some of those rocks must have been just about sticking out Twas a great day, fantastic turnout,w hich i thunk everyone had fun. Thanks Hards and Nebs Congrats Steve on the distance PB, you looked shagged when you came in
Sammy (16210km): Good fun today outher at Hardies, nice to catch up with everyone CA50, LEdge pointer 29, 6.7 RSS
evets (10573km): A long day. 0620-0920 Isonic 105, Tush Raptor 6.5, JP 36 weedy. slogging much of the time in a cold southerlythen wind died. came in, changed out of wetsuit and spent 4 hours on the grass talking to GTC frineds as we set up and started the GTC BBQ for the prize giving day. Fitted new harness lines as one had broken about 0800 (thanks Alby) Wind picked up about 1300 so off again. same set up Came in for the 3pm prize giving ceremony and as wind had picked up changed to JP265 freeride and Maisch wedy for the rest of the afternoon. Managed to be on the start line for one of the races. Kept sailing then kept sailing. came off water at 1930. A fantastic day with loads of sailors on the water for the GTC day. I was never very fast but I kept going. Only injury is a very swollen hand where i blew a gybe a 111NM. Pleased with total. Gybes improving but need more style for the rig and foot change as I do not think i planed out of one today. Very windy around 6-7 pm so pleased still be gybing with fairly large sail thanks to all who assisted during the day and to Nebs and Hardie for the day/ the GTC.
