Rigged 6.7 RS Racing on CA Sp50

Mast broke shortly after leaving beachCry

rerigged sail on 430 X6 mast, that mast sail combo does not work Yell

plenty of wind at safety bay today and a great tide for speed running but could not get gear to work, packed up in disgust rather than changing down

JP Slalom IV 104L, NP RSS MkII 7.2m, JP Slaom III 38 +10º 36cm

Went out today to try out latest fin experiment, and to try for an hour, feeling a bit lazy so I rigged the 7.2m so I wouldn't have to pump if the wind droped out, it didn't just got stronger.

Did my hour fairly happy with the result, quite happy with the new fin picked up 2knots on std raked 36cm, lost a tiny bit of upwind but stability benitits greatly outweighed that loss.

Went back out again after a break did a run had a chat with Sammy and we decided to go back over to Claudesville, The wind was getting a bit much for the 72 before I came back before, it was now a wee bit crazy (I've come to the conclusion that Allison Shreeve is one extremely tallented Loony) couldn't get the gear to go upwind as much as Sam, was getting a few to many jumps, eventually got over there and had some fun, finally flagged it and did a +8km kamakazi downwind run back to base, if I had a few spare seconds I would have shat myself, thankfull all I had time to do was clench very hard.

Wanted to do a couple of speed runs but was jiggered

Was a great session after 2 weeks of not being able to sailCool

Tried too many new things at once today, 6.1m code red, couldn't rig it on either of my masts, 460 too long 430 too short, (luff of 457) so borrowed Benders tushy mast and long extension. Don't think the sail works well on this mast, bottom of sail seemed to need more downhaul but top already had too much.

Also tried latest mod to old speed board with new 27cm 35deg fin, and my modification to herbs weedy.

Whatever the reason just couldn't go fast, had plenty of power, but couldn't convert it into speed.

Acquired an old tyronsea mast extender, will modify that and see how the code red rigs on my 430.

Congrats to all the PBs, (Sam you %&^$ you're well ahead of me now!) think I beat hardy today to the tittle of snail.
