Sam Doecke (16626km): F2 missile xs / 5.1m loft blade / 6.2m loft blade / 24cm c3 venom - 1st time on venom - awesome fin. Not enough 10 sec for 40 knot average but maybe next time. Clayton channel - 20 - 35 w / nw.
Chris Dimond (5865km): Early - iS86 / 5.8 Koncept / 30 Venom Should have been on the small gear like everyone else at this time, but we were sailing 'around the bend' in the W/NW'ly and it was just too hard to get back. Always like the iS86. Later - iSW49 / 5.8 Koncept / 23 KA symm. Should have been on this earlier. Not my best day's sailing. Luckily I got a 40 on the dial late in the day to restore some pride. I walked further than I sailed and had a long walk of shame at one point when it was just too windy to get back. Sam was firing and Anthony was completely smoking. Their numbers will be great. Kimba also there getting a quick sail on his birthday (good numbers too I hope). Windy in Adelaide today (blew a semi-trailer over at the airport), but not the ideal direction for the Clayton Channel. If it had been another 5 degrees to the NW then we would have had a cracker. We are still working this spot out.... Always fun.
Kimba (5126km): Only 1 run in my tracklog, I have no idea why my NM and other runs were not logged. I had 4 peak speeds registered on the max speed screen. I think I had a mid to high 30's NM, anyone got any tricks to unlock data from the logger on a GT-11. I have tried saving to the card but there are only 217 points.
Choco (9631km): Quick sail at Clayton squally winds coming from everywhere packed up and went round to the Alpha channel for better angle by then the rain set in and my warm car won out. CA SP50 Blade 5.6
Hamma (9361km): CA 44,C3 venom 24,neilpryde 5.5 evo 11 Everything felt great today.A lot of walking , but worth it. |
