Kimba (5126km): Nice session at Grundys although a little gusty - 5-20 knots. To holey to try a proper NM but got 500 down the course over the church pews and pulled out. I should have persisted as I was holding 35-36 knots. Still waiting for that powered go for broke run, I hope it is worth the wait. My Grundys score is 2 out of 6 sessions with wind, but of those 2 it was about 10 knots less than forecast. Coming back again after constant skunking is the real test, the sailing is easy! JP Slalom V 60 - 6.7 RSR - SL731 Wind 5-20 knots
Sam Doecke (16626km): Started on f2 xs missile / 6.2m loft blade / 24cm venom - 1 run on jp slalom 54 and 6.2m blade and ended up in the afternoon on fanatic falcon 111 / 7.5m koncept and 37cm sl7. Clayton channel - 15 - 20 knots in the morning and 10 - 15 knots in the afternoon.
Carl Macdonald (18593km): Had to look after the kids so on the water after 3pm. When i arrived Sam and Chris D were changing to bigger rigs. It was about 5 knots so rigged my biggest kit. Managed 1 decent powered run and the rest were sub-planing runs. This is the second time in a row that i have only had 1 good run. Clayton channel - 8 - 15 knots. Fanatic falcon 89 / 6.6m koncept and 32cm c3 venom.
Hamma (9361km): Rigged the wrong sail and board today, very under powered. To far to walk to change.(To lazy) CA 44,5.5 EVO 11,24 cm venom.

Joe (4870km): Shit day

Norman Clarke (3615km): North westerly again. How lucky we are. Very flat but wind was a bit fickle I’d say from 5 to 20knots at times. I'm pleasantly surprised with the speeds but the conditions were very nice. Isonic 94 6.0 Vapor. |
