2009 iS86 / 2009 6.6 Koncept / 2009 C3 Venom 34 - Clayton Channel 15-25 knots NW.

Only a short session for me today. Was great to finally get a decent session on the above gear combo. I've been wanting to try the 34 Venom out for a while and it was FANTASTIC. Really sweet in the iS86 in 15 - 20 knots, but I needed to be on a smaller board later in the day as the wind built. I didn't have time to go and re-rig, so I was left to work it out. Hamma and Sam were both flying, but the direction was not quite right for big NM's and the wind was gusty. Not sure if their numbers will improve the team position for the month.

6.2 didn't fill as nice as the 5.5.Rigged a bit flat, will have to get the right mast.

I used the older x9 430.The 09 is stiffer in the mid section and the sail rigs a lot fuller.I changed the mast for my 5.5 and made a big difference. The 5.5 felt more powerful and holds more wind.
