Gpstc day. rigged the 6.7m hellcat on the 115 rocket with the 36cm jp weedie and went out in wind that took about 1 minute to come in from absolutely nothing. Love this sail / board combination and will be telling anyone willing to listen just how good it is.

Had to leave early for an appointment but had a great day thanks to Hards and the crew who made it all possible. CoolCoolCool

Oh, nearly forgot, almost stepped on a dugite until Elmo said to "watch out" and proceeded to give it a bit of x_6 encouragement. Innocent

JP SS 100L & JP Freeride Weed 36cm, JP SS 127L & Chooco Weeed 40cm, NP RSS MkII 7.2m

Rocked up at the GPSTC day down at Novara to recieve an earfull of abuse from Claude and Norts regarding them having to use weediesCoolCoolCool, ahh welcome to MandurahCoolCoolCool

Got the board set up load boom and stuff on grass cme back with Mast and sail only to find a dugite sitting on my boom with everyone standing around oblivious to itUndecided. Used my mast to encourage it up the beach aways, gave Claude a bit of a shock when I told him there was a snake hiding under his Iso, got quite adept at using my 460 mast to pick it up and flick it 10 -15ft down the beach till it was well away from the peoples.

Went out with the 100L ss but was not realy comfortabvle with it, feeling nausious all day didn't realy help either, figured out it was the smell of the rotting weed which set me of. was going to flag it but gave the bigger SS a go which turned out to be a good move.

Went in a couple of the races, the first of which I jumped the start when a gust lifted the sail and me up onto the board, rather than stuff up and fall of figured Karma played a hand and took of, unfortunately Karma is not without a sense of humour as I did my normal gybe and let 3 people past whilst water starting againEmbarassed. Didn't finish the second race as lunch was coming for a second tasting.

Thankfully dinner was tasty as that is also coming back for 2nd and 3rd tastings.

A good day out with a good bunch of peoples

74 jp ss,7.8 rsr,45cm select weedy - brief run on 65 jp ss ,36 jp weedy

Great day at Hardies, stayed off the speed run but had a challenge with the snotweed grabing at the fin far too much.Wasn't having much luck with the fun races so decided to give some distance a go, could have cracked the ton but got too buggered fighting with the snotweed.Still a great day on the waterLaughing

Great day, morning spent socialiasing waiting for the wind, came in just before miday, great rush to rig up and get out there. I wanted to do distance so needed maximum TOW.

Didn't go in the races, but tagged on to the back of one and tried to keep out of the way.

Used the thommen, 6.0 lightning, and herby fin, could have used more wind most of the time, but the water was quite flat, which compensated for the lack of wind.

Thought I was doing better gybing the thommen, Think I went too wide, wasn't going for alphas, sorry  Sam.

GTC day at Novars

F2SX 63(95L) RS6 7.8m and RSR 7.2m, 34FO and 40choco weedys

Too tired to type. Will add more later. Great day, highlight was being in the lead briefly in one of the slalom races till i nearly took Ado's head off in a gybe.Laughing

EDIT, the day started with a cuppa at Elmo's as he had a set of new harness lines for me. While i fitted them to my big boom. The tail end was really stiff. Elmo says "I've got some silicone spray", "Good idear" i say.

Arrivred at Novara, its looks good and guys tell me the wind has just filled in (bout -18knts). Rigged the 7.8m RS6 and plugged in the SX63 with a 36F1 as i everyone had pointers on. launch after walking 200m out. Get going sail feels great. Oh no there is weed lumps everywhere and its like a salom course trying to dodge it. After ten mins of going side ways due to weed on my fin i headed back in (another 200mm wade through the snot). Change to a 40cm Choco weedy. Wade through 200m of snot. Take off and i hear a bang. Could'nt work it out. Then i realise that my old style NP twist locks are slipping and the sail is way bagged out no matter how much i pull on the outhaul (bloody Elmo and his silicone). I head in. Scab some tape off Decrep. Head back out (another 200m wade through snot only for the boom to keep slippingYell. By now i was starting to get pissed off. Wade in again. After using wet and dry i manged to get the tail end nice and sticky again ( should mention that by lightly sanding, i had taken off all the numbers on the tail end, D'OH!!!). Gary Baker (only to be told he wanted it back i f i passed himWink) kindly had some gaffer tape, so i taped the twist locks up really good.

Another 200m wade through snot and i had a plesent sail. Came in to cook lunch. Unrigged the 7.8m as the wind had filled in and used my RSR 7.2M  for the races. Should have stayed with the 7.8m as it dropped just as the racing started. Over all a great day. i had planed to back decrep up but with all the faffing around i didn't get too. Still a very enjoyable day.

I lost 2/3 of my data, only have an hour + 40km... missing the courses, dam!! never mind

What the cool day it was sailing with the crowd and catching up with everyone again, some was so long ago!!

My first part of sailing was nicely powered until I downsized the fin and wind drop!! I endup making the courses completly underpowered. Still was great fun getting passed and catch up few heads... what the buzz it was Cool Well someone really enjoyed my fin Wink

After playing with the CA 50 for the past few weeks when went back on the iSo today, I was doing some smove Alpha on it!! I forgot how easy that board jybe.

Good job le Crow for the PB and Mike for great kms, THANKS Joe and Neb for the FUN day
