The wind was very east today, you could sail back to the top of the runway on one tack. Very inconsistent wind under the runway, loads of holes. to get a decent bearaway, you had to leave the smooth waters and head out into the bay. I had my first runs inside the bouys, nice and cloae to the runway. It's a huge wind shadow in there. Never fully powered up on a speed run, didn't feel like 20 knots out there. Great to see loads of Roaches out today

about 18-20knts when I was out.
Headed out early, had my two youngest with me for a morning at the beach, the breeze came in early so I managed to get a couple of K's up and my first session on my Hellcat. Short runs for me today as I didn't want to leave the kids out of sight and it was pretty patchy in close. But It was a real bonus for me to get anything so crap times and yet happay as. Out of the water by 1.15

5495 days ago Fun day on the water. Out earlish expecting it to pick up, but it didnt by much. Pretty choppy with lots of sailors and a whole fleet of Lasers and bog boats. They put the pin end in the middle of the sailing area and leeward mark at the end of the run. Words exchanged but no solution.
Just blasting with Sean (quik sail & frozen GPS) and Chris. Only one decent crash today, unusual. Still managing to up the 7.8 peak.
Falcon 111, RSR 7.8, 40cm fin.

5494 days ago 2 categories a weird ENE wind instead of the predicted NE. I once again rigged too small and paid the price by doing a lot of slogging. Anyway, good to get out for a sail nonetheless.
