Hardies in a poxy on/off 15-20SW'er

F2 SX XL and SX63, 7.8m RS6, 40 and 36cm pointers

It was pretty ordinary. wanted a wave sail at Avalon but it was tiny. Went for the hour but there were too many holes in the the wind to crank out a PB.

GE image is only half my session as my navi split my sesh. DONT KNOW WHYSurprised

Went for an hr downwinder, wind dropped a couple of times, fell off a couple of times adjusted Boom, and still got 21.5 imagine what was possible? Tabou Manta 64  Gaastra vapor 6m LE Weed 33cm.  Might go out again this arvie?

SEcond session wind picked up, had to abandon long hour runs, got too choppy, was getting airborne, so just went and tried for Alphas, still ended up with a decent hr, just spewing I couldnt crunch out a PB for the hour, same gear.

Hardies Today going for a basic cruise

Started out a bit gusty then filled in nicely

Couldn't gybe to save myself today only 1 alpha made and that was onlt 109 meters long as a went for a bearaway straight out of it

tried out my new HD hero head cam will check footage later

Starboard ISO 101, NP RS Racing 6.7 choco 40cm weedy, i think i will save this fin for my 7.5 and use a 34 Flying objects with the 6.7 in future

Only just scraped in for the hour with the last points being in the boat channel as i was running in

Going for the 1hr again, we've improved our position and I've got a PB, but it won't be anywhere near enough to hold off SRM! Claude and 25 are going for it. Claude was still out there when I left, not sure if he'll get a distance PB, but expect a big number.

My hour could have been better if I hadn't snapped my harness line on the last run to the other side, was about half way between the platform and the far shore, hung on for as long as I could, but had to gybe and head for home.

Bummer as the wind was improving all the time and each run was faster than the last, and there was still room in the eastuary for about 3 more downwind runs.

Never mind I can see a 23kt hour coming up soon.

JP SS 100L, Chooko Weed 40cm,  NP RS4 6.7m + JP SS 127L Select weed 47.5cm NP RSS 7.2m

Got down the run early finding Claude already rigging up, the wind looked a lot stronger than it was in actuallity, quite a few sizeable holes, eventually ran out of wind on smaller kit so managed to score one gust which got us back to base.

Rigged the big kit lot better still had occasion where some considerable foot pumping of the board was required to keep the boards planing through the holes, worked my way out and was very happy to get in 4 long runs over to Claudesville, where I got a steaming jibe on the large kit and a great down winder run back to base.

Got to go to work now, God I love being on holidaysUndecided

Good fun session

6.3 tr4, 104 falcon, 28 assymetrical weedy... went out for the morning session in safety bay and met up with JC from swan river mob. was too underpowered should have gone bigger but at least i got a good 'light wind' alpha still good fun at least i wasn't only just hanging on, then i spent the arvo on the freestyle gear.... got windy in the arvo too, overpowered on a 5.3 ice

No distance records today as sailing was a bit religious experience for most of the day

Congrats Mike on the PB

Great to see you got a pb mike and left yourself space for a another one when you crack 23 next weekWink. Hope I am sailing with you when it happensCool

I called in at Novarra on the way home from work and intended to come back, however I decided to take the kids to the park, after which my gorgeous wife suggested I may be sailing all day Friday.  Cool I got it right!

May try for a dawn sail tomorrow before work

Thanks guys.

Bender I thought you'd seen me heading upwind, I was watching behind, but you just didn't appear. I ran into a couple of holes on the way to the point, but after I headed off downwind, it wasn't too bad, and kept getting better.
