Quick blast (if you can call it that) at the Angling Club, Inverloch with Drift. Started off at around 15 knots from the SW. High tide with chop through the centre area but quite flat at the end of the run. 1.5 hours in and the wind died to about 6-8 knots.

LOCATION:  ANGLING CLUB

SAILORS:  EJ

WIND:  SW- 15 KTS DROPPING TO 5.  OUTGOING TIDE

GEAR:  EXCITE RIDE 110, 34 CM FIN, KA KOYOTE 6.6

DETAILS:  I am surprised the pensioners that use the car park didn't trash my car...two days in a row mid week where I get an Inverloch session in!

Wind was good early, but still choppy as a result of the tide.  Got a few nice runs on the 110....finally got to open her up and get her moving...definately handled the chop better and I got a nice upwind carve in.

The wind could see that the tide had stopped going out and that it would be perfect for running the strip so it TOTALLY DIED!...

I swapped up to the barge and did a non planing run over to Point Smythe but it was all over red rover...

Was good while it lasted. Looking at the Pound Creek reading we didn't miss anything by leaving early!

Any chance of you guys working a full week! Wink Anyway has that sand bar in the middle of the course been washed away yet?

Jman,

What's this "work" of which you speak?????????Smile

The middle spit looks ike it is changing.  We ran over it today (and yesterday) without it getting a taste of our fins.

What we need now is a few big days of SW winds and big tides.
