Busy day at the Salty Lake...must be Whitsun!  Started off on the Isonic 111 and 7.1m but everything of note was done on the Isonic 86.  Team effort on Nm and distance... scored my best Nm speed for 2011. Well pleased, but tiring work bashing through the chop! In need of a glass of medicine!

Isonic 86 and Naish redline 6m

Early congratulations on the distance guys....plugging away in those conditions deserves a captain's medal

Well first time back on the water after stabbing myself wrapped my arm up in clingfilm and ducktape, hit the water nicely powered up for some distance sailing most of the time but wind did build after a while which made life hard holding on was a big issue especially out of the gybes. But got some stick and hassle from The Matrix so had to keep going got to 100 Nm and had to call it a day.

Spencer was doing good on the distance sailing think he pipped me? But was amazed how solid his sailing was, starting to get them gybes sorted as well. Good effort mate you have seriously impressed me.

On the whole good number of us out and a great days sailing.

Lea Spencer sailed over 100 N miles today after recovering from a heart attack last year WELL DONE Lea.

Check out his web site here and have a look at what hes doing for the British Heart foundation.

I'm sure a small donation would be much appreciated!

Just a bit of slalom practice in a very rough sea. Other sailors were on wave boards with 5.0. Pleased with speeds....felt very fast in these conditions!

Ouch, cheers for the support and motivational swearing on the water.

Well done to all yesterday, especially our cap'n who was suffering with his holy arm

Reposted after checking ka72, upped my distance which is now closer to the GPS read out and means I beat the 200km mark as well as the 100nm :-)
