Melville Beach, WA, AU

On the water at 8, very gusty, best run was in the middle of the river almost on the northern side.

Did 1 run too many in a big gust, the Venom 42 rode up out of the water and over I went.

Suspected fractured ribs and 2 fingers. Feel a bit of relief with 2 Dramadol down the hatch.

Had more injuries this 6 months since starting speed GPS than in previous 35 years of windsurfing combined.

It sure is fun though...

Futura 101, Code Red 6.1, Venom 42

Happy 18th Sean - I hope you had a big one.

Chop was nasty and the big board proved a handfull at times but good to get a sneaky morning session.

Good to catch up with Lao and Pointman for a chin wag.

Short loosener at melville with Pointman.

Horrible chop to start as wind had swung.

One long run across to Peli in search of a mile (sorry I couldn't match yours, Pointman, top effortLaughing)

Rest of session getting back upwind.

Quite a contrast to yesterday's sail!Surprised

Gusty & choppy at Melville. Mostly planing on the F111 + 7.6 TR7 + 38 Sting combo. Took off downwind for a mile and sailed all the way to Peli. Hit a lull half way and my speed dropped to 22K, so happy with a near 29. Took a while to get back upwind in the patchy breeze, so I called it a day not long after that. JJ in the wars again! Hope you're feeling better soon mate.

Melville Beach, WA, 121+7.8+44

Nice afternoon sail, fairly solid for the first 40 mins then quite patchy. Water was very flay so I kept hanging around for "that gust" but it never eventuated. I always find a learn a bit of technique when it's very flat so I went home happy.

Congrats JJ on the corner and sorry to hear about the broken bits.
