Point Walter, WA, AU

There you go Troutty Smile posted pronto just for you. Congrats on the PB. That was hard work and not really the most fun I've had sailing but as always enjoyed "getting wet" and catching up with everyone. Point Walter AKA "Wally World" didn't really turn it on for us today. The tide was too high and Weasterlies don't get the angle or consistancy needed to pull good speeds (some CRAZY chop out there as Trouty will tell you) .

What I did discover is that between the end of the bar and the spit post, running down to Claremont Yacht Club was the best place to be and a lot of fun when you caught a good gust! Saw JC, Pointman and Lao Shi who all reported an average days sailing (That reminds me. Lao Shi do you use red ali vent screws as I found one where you packed up?).

Used my new Reflex II 5.6 for the first time and really stoked. Just need to do a couple of tuning adjustments and will be ready to go supersonic as this thing is so stable and easy to use.

Jeez ! hope you didnt run into it or else you would have been up the creek. I cant add to the tally for today as I left my GPS turned on for the drive home. Saw a 28 max but I had a blinder of a run later on  I swear !

Melville, Falcon 101,KA Koncept 5.7,Leading edge B something 32,way overpowered in the gusts, then ok,then grovelling then way overpowered, then ok you get the drift !

Is there anything I can do to retrieve the data up to the point I left the carpark !

Results Sept 18 are as

2 sec         30.97
5x10 Sec    27.52
Alpha         18.72
NM            17.19
Hr              7.67
Km            23.01

nice one Punk - always good to get a PB. You obviously got one of those gusts where i was on the beach hanging onto the kit so it wouldn't catapult all the way from Wally World to Dalkeith in one go ....

Col, just email your track to someone who has realspeed. Lao shi salvaged one for me a while back when I left my GPS on for the ride home.

Congrats on the PB's today guys. It took some guts as well as gusts to get them I'm sure.

Hey obi one, I certainly wouldn't buy a used board off you at the moment, I'm worried it might have hit that bloody oar.

Nice pb's Somepunk and Troutty

Hey Obiwan is that a car key attached to the oar?  See if you can find a car that hasn't been moved for a while and give it a go!
