Hardie (20239km): Hardies Run, WA, AU Went for Alpha's wif Decrep, TR-4 6.3m iSo 94 2010 Carbon JP weed 31, fun sail, but so unfit woulda stayed out coz just got betta!!
Decrepit (22059km): Nice sail with hardie, yoyo and Elmo, hardie and I were going to go for 1hr but wind was too holey so concentrated on alphas. Pleased to say that alpha land is sailable, and new 24cm @ 30d works great, only picked up a bit of weed when I stopped in knee deep water, with weed 5cm under. Pleased with the alphas, best yet with the 53cm.
Elmo (15665km): JP Slalom VI 65cm, NP RSS MkIV 7.8m, JP Weed 36cm Nice little sail after work, wind looked like it was kinda up and down so being a lazy basket I rigged the 7.8m. First run (without any adjustments) sailed my first run across to Claudesville with a good solid breeze all the way across, unfortunately without getting the set up dialed in better I was feeling the pain, was a bit hard on the way back as it felt like I was almost heading back straight into the wind, I know I was pretty much hting the chop straight on. The run back was hurting due to poor settings, got within 100m of the sand bar and my front leg gave out and down I went. A few tweeks later and of I went again, much nicer, as the biys were down in Alpha land going around corners rapidly I thought I'd do some tuning experimentation with boom hieght and moving mast base back, free'd up the board nicely but increased cavitation, but was worthwhile playing around. At times I could have been quite happy with a 7 or smaller, But still happy as it was a fun little session
Sammy (16210km): Nice little cruisy sail in the bay with few others. Just powered on the 6.7. not enough wind for the pond.. Good to get wet XFire90, RSS6.7, 280/45Profoil Good number Elmo , look like you guys had the wind down there.. thats about time |
