Nice fun session at Coota, shame that it was too west for the strip to work. Aim was to better my alpha today in the conditionsmission accomplished,still notl flash though

 Good fun, good company we will crack it here soon. Great town very busy with the long weekend in vic, it is really worth the drive just to taste Lucy's dumplings

SHQ Windfestival this weekend. Not a lot of wind but plenty of fun. I didn't wear the GPS during the races (forgot to bring it down) but went back later after high tide for some fun. Spotty said he thought he had a decent 1hr so I went for it to back him up and did a few Alphas in the first few minutes.I felt like I cought some weed about 2/3rds of the way though as my peak speeds down the bank droped off by about 3 knots and my return speeds suffered as well. Didn't want to stop to clear it though so sailed on. At the end I backed up the board after the last Gybe and run down again. Yep, up 3-4 knots again. Must have been a few threads of ribbon weed on the fin which is quite unusual for this fin which normally sheds weed really well and performs very well indeed.
