Sailed Stansbury again today.

F2 Sputnik , NP Raf Supernova , Slalom fin.

Went out at low tide and out to the outer oyster leases for a blast. Good wind and no weed.

Had a good sailSmile.

Usual Lake George day, Se 25 to 30.

F2 Missile, 5.0 KA Koncept, 24 choco weedie for half a dozen runs then,

92 JP freestyle wave with old 4.2 97 model ezzy wave, select 24 weedie.

Good to have a crew out with me again, sailed after work, looks the same wind again tommorrow.

After a few runs sounded like my leach was noisy, looked up and there was a big tear in it so went straight in. Bummer.

i suppose the 5.0 has had a flogging the last couple weeks.

went out on the wave gear and really really enjoyed it, just cruised so easy and done heaps short runs and gybes, need to get back in the waves for a few sessions.

had a peak of 35.92 on the wave gear which I think is higher than my F2 stoke max go figure.

Izaak smoked the alpha well done boy.

Oh and Hamma was hammering.

F_ck'n great day. Went for a day trip with carl hoping to finally do a 40 knot 5 by ten and got it. Good to catch up with everyone including daff an matt from pit crew, also jaques an tony and isak and Anthony perkins. Hamma smoking today and carl was cranking in his hour. Love sailing with that bloke. Full of energy an never shuts up:-). Awesome stuff carl. great road trip mate. Just sorry that it's getting dangerously shallow and prob won't head back till next year. Thanks jimbob for showing us this awesome spot. Guess I should brag about the Australian nautical record, at least till Tony W posts:-) this was my one and only attempt at a nautical. Hit rocks on the way up wind. Sanded the chips back with a cockle I found on the bottom of George then went for the nautical of my life. 35.5 low speed and 43.01 peak. Chips and all:-) Used 6 metre hot sails Maui GPS witch felt great also xs missile 43 wide an Choco 24 weed speed fin.

What a way to spend Australia Day road trip with Sam to Lake GeorgeSmile.  Early start arriving to Sam's just after 5am.  Got to Lake George just after 9.  On the water around lunchtime and off the water at 6 and home at just before midnight.  Main focus was the hour - done on isonic 86 / 6.3m loft racing blade and 24cm choco - happy with resultSmile.  Did around 110 k's on 86 and decided to change to isonic 50.  Happy with 5 x 42 knots runs and made sure i had 40 knots average and decided to go for a nautical.  Most guys were heading above bouy and heading past launch area - but i like port tack so decided to run in between the islands and down to the spit.  F*&^EN choppy in the middle but happy with another PBSmile.  In the end topped up enough k's to claim another PBSmile.  In hindsight i should have left that for another day not on a speed day but what a day it wasSmile.  Thanks Sam for driving me down and another unbelievable road trip and well done on the PB's mate you sure deserve themCool.  Good to catch up wth some Vic imports, Perks and Hamma and Jimbob of courseWink.  Pretty lit up on 6.3 - might have to get a 5.6 but very happy with choco speed weed 24 - great finSmile.  Probably last sail there till later in the year but has given me 7 PB's in the last weekSmile.

Lake George - 20 - 30 knots.

Isonic 86 / 2011 6.3m loft racing blade / 24cm choco weed speed.

Isonic 50 / 2011 6.3m loft racing blade / 24cm choco weed speed.
