Stansbury bay, South 15-25knots.

f2 Sputnik, 5.4 NP Raf Supernova, 28 Pro Limit Weedy.

Arrived just before low tide and rigged the smaller sail today so I would'nt be so overpowered on the beat as I was last outing with Tricky.

The weed fin is working a treat in the stronger wind, and the flatter water out by the second oyster lease was perfect for improving my times.

Probably did my best carve jybe ever todaySurprised but didn't improve the Alpha score because of the big bearaways and not being able to get back within the 50 meter zone. The sputniks not far away from 35knots and when it reaches it I will retire it and get something newer, perhaps a Isonic 101 or JP Slalom 101,( which is better?). Would have liked to stay for a bit longer to get out onto the main spit in close as the tide rose but  saw lightning out to sea and decided to call it a day. Another good dayWinkWinkSmile.

Very disappointing day at boggy expecting 25-30 knots only got a very gusty 15-20 SE Hot sails Maui Speed Demon 8m, Hifly Madd 165, 2 x 36 freeride.

Teaches me a lesson for abandoning the shop in the expectation of wind it was barely 10knots when i arrived at boggyFrown

Congrats to all the PB….

Lake George, SE 30 to 35+,

F2 missile, 5.0 KA Koncept, 24 choco weedie.

Smile Had my fastest speeds ever and I was the slowest sailor for the day. Cool the standard and expectations has stepped up so much here now,

really too much for my setup today was in survival mode had a 40 first run just going out and had to stop each end and adjust outhaul 2 notches to get upwind, need to work on technique and get off the 24 lines and get out to about 28's. and I will definetly be getting an adjustable outhaul. I didn't even do a gybe for the session.

Frown was a bit of a pain getting in and out. some rain soon will help heaps.

Well done to the rest of the demon crew and to Hamma Rick Choc and Carl on the PB's.

Tongue out Hamma was smoking it, his jp45 and pryde evo4's where absolutely rock steady and he was on a 5.8 when I was wishing I had a 4.4 or smaller. the vector weed fins he was running where bullshit good i'm sure Jesper will see a lot of orders for them.

Ricky has stepped up big time, wish I had a bro to pass down gear all setup and ready to go.

Choc had some sick speeds when I got there but had to go, I think he was on starting nights like me

Carl is like an energizer bunny that just gets buzzing and is so into his sailing right now, sure he would have been yapping all the way home and he was travelling by himself, well done 45 next ?

The Vic blow ins where cranking though big tony was like a weed plow sometimes, Jarques was flying well done on more pb.s, I think it was his third trip over.

Very Happy with my effort, was a bit out of control, spent the last half of the day watching the boys breaking their own records records.

Congratulations on all the PBS

SmileSmileSmile  Very Happy!!!!! In over 20 years of sailing i have never had so much fun in 3 months.  Lake George just keeps deliveringSmile.  Had to drive home just after lunch so decided better head out early.  At the time was only 20 knots but rigged the 5.1m for the forecast and it paid off.  Wind picked up to 30 - 35 knots and the 6.3 would of been a handful.  The weed is growing to the top of the water and in alot of places has died.  It is hard to start off but when you get going it is INSANELY FLAT.

Managed to keep heading up toward the flatter water and numbers just kept getting better.  Had my goal of 43 in no time and every run increased - 43.3, 43.4, 43.5, 44.04 - was pretty happy at this point and next run 44.74 on the screen with 43.19 10 secSmile.  By this time i was stuffed and had to start packing up for 4 hour drive home - WHAT A DAY!  Very happy with PB's on 24cm choco weedy - wasn't sure if capable but has delivered beyond expectations.  Good to catch up with Hamma Bros, Choco, Jimbob, Vic blowins and Dimond in the end - thanks for the beer and hope you get a good ride tomorrow.  Well done on all the PB"SCool.  Sorry you missed it Sam but hopefully next weekend the wind delivers so we can do it all againSmile.  If not this is definately the last ride at Lake George till OctoberWink.

Lake George - 30 - 35 knots.

Isonic 50 / 5.1m Maui TR-4 and 24cm choco weedy.

The lake is very close to unsailable nowCry.  Very shallow and weed is to the surface.  October is when the lake should be full of water but isn't flat until Dec / Jan / FebCry.  Hope the weed grows back as good as nowSmile.  Snides the wind was 30 - 35 today and the chop was at least 1 inch glass in the roughest spot.  10 - 15 knots sounds heaps betterWink.

Thanks for all the coments, had the best day ever with 6 runs over 46 and 12  45 s and called it a day with still half a day left. The last run I sailed back to the car without really letting it go and still got a 46.Maybe I should of had a few more runs. The new 5.8 felt unreal, the windier it got the better it felt.Never felt over powerd at any time and the vector weed speed rocks!!!and seems to really suit the jp speed board that i'm loving as well.Well done to all the other boys with PBs you were all smoking.

Wow most times I would be pleased with my times but next to Anthony's they look abit lameFrown, had a hectic day before heading down to Beachport heaps of rain which resulted in a head on collision and I had to handle the diverted traffic I was soaked I finally managed to get on the road and arrived late that night.Next morning headed down to the Lake and caught up with the guys who were already there, rigged up and hit the water wind was around 20-25 maybe gusting to 30, first run had a 43.7knt on the dial kept sailing and after a few more runs had a 46.10 on the display, caught up with Hamma out on the water for a chat and I told him of my times he couldn't believe it and said he would just love a 45 I told him if the wind kicks in he'll do a 47 if I had done that speed in these conditions, had a few more runs and we all came in for a break, the vic boys turned up and so did the wind, it went from 20-30 to solid 35+.Checking out speed genie I new I only needed one more good run to get 44 average so out we went again by this time the water conditions had changed the wind had started to move the water and it was alot more shallower than before I did 3 runs on the same angle and place as earlier, sail board everthing felt great except for the fin it felt like I was dragging and anchor, the 25cm had transformed into a weed junkie and was simply holding me back  even trying to water start was becoming a nightmare and I physically and mentally tired by this stage, having nothing smaller to change down too I sat in the water and watched the boys blasting for about 20mins and decided to pull the pin and head home to get a few more hours sleep before the start of my next shift, glad I did struggled to keep awake while driving. Why why why did I get a job?Cryoh that's right more toysSmile

Lake George is on the MAP now as one of the best all round windsurfing spots in the world, expect to see more SA Demon names along with the Pit crew on the top of the ladder in the future, gee even Carl will be up there........Embarassed Cool  I wish every state had a Lake Goerge because there are lots of top sailors out there who would pump out some serious numbers but are restricted by location.

Want to finish by saying  Hamma also forgot to mention he was carrying 12kg of lead....that in itself is remarkable you need some serious strength to carry that all day if I had that on my shoulders I'd still be stuck on the bottom of the lake today, and to all the other teams you may as well take your bat and ball and go home the lake may dry bit it will fill up againTongue out

Mineral we come in from beachport and drive across the between the middle and top lake across the flats, you can sit on 80 to 100 and it only takes a few minutes. I also come and go from a track behind surfbeach.

Wink just beware that you can only do this when it is way dry or you will be bogged big time, best to sail from the spit until at least febuary,

Wink the best part is it is also only 5 minutes back to the pub after.
