Yorkeys Knob, QLD, AU

Great Session off the beach, wind had a lot east which is perfect for Yorkeys as the wind makes it to the beach and it's easier to pick a line through the swells.

Used My2012 Isonic 107 and 7.5 Overdrive as the wind was only light when rigging. Very happy with the speeds on my light wind gear and i think its my off the beach PB for me! Cant wait to get the smaller gear out here on a strong day!Cool

Ka72, Holloways Beach, Yorkey's, QLD, AU

Bloody great day, how it used to should be. Didn't look too windy at first but I wanted to use my CA so set up for that, then I saw the Red Devil (Kel) comming up from Yorkey's, he said it was flatter and windier there so that's where I sailed down to. Got my Nm on the way down, exciting I must say, definiatly more wind at Yorkey's but I don't know where the flat stuff was ha. Got my peak at Yorkey's first run there but my fitness was suffering, gybing like a nanna and resting in the shore break, woe is me Laughing

I have to say it's a rare day to get a 32 here so happy with that, also happy for Kel, the bastard did me again, I'm having a Coopers for you Kel, red of course Cool

Carbon Art SL58, 6.8 Loft Switchblade, 32 Venom and Boardies of course.

Great day with Toody on Arlington initially -used JP 59 RSS mk 4 7.0 Lessacher le wo duo 30o 32cm  Wind was 18-20 SSE

As the tide retreated we took the boat over to the Northern Side of Michaelmas Reef where the water was crystal clear & the run ~7 NM long -simply stunning !!

Used the ISO 80 Venom 32 & Toody's Overdrive 6.7.Wind was again around 18-20 knots but managed a couple of late lucky gusts just inside Michaelmas Cay .We shared the gear so one of us was minding the boat .

If you love windsurfing you've got to have a look at this spot before you die ...!!!

Tried Yorkies for a change. Rigged a 7.8 as it was a little on the light side. Once out on the water the wind came in beautifully was a bit much for me and the 7.8 - 6.7 would have been beautiful. Nice consistent breeze for a change. Happy days.

Green Island, QLD, AU, Isonic 87 & 80, 6.7 Overdrive, 32 venom

Peaks were all at Arlington reef and then we set off looking for new spots.

Michealmas cay on a .20 tide was just insanly good, this spot is going to be so good for 1hr's, near the end of the session also found a nice little speed strip.

Thanks Cam for an amazing day !!

What a start to the month guys - lovely numbers especially the beach results from the past and present captain.  +32kn 2 sec, +30kn 5x10, +21kn hr, & +28kn Nm is a bloody great session in anyone's book (and Firie, from someone who wasn't going to sail today).

Cam & Toody, what I wouldn't have given to be on that boat today.  Always wondered about Michaelmas and sounds like you've discovered  a wonderful real low tide spot to sail if conditions are right.  Great numbers and congrats on the PB Toody.

PS - well done on the Winter Cup too.

Cam / Toody,

I gather you sailed at Michaelmas once all the tourists had left for the day and had dry land / pontoon to rig gear?  Looks spectacular from Toody's photos on SB.

Nice photos, I should have taken some photos from our 8 degrees sail on Sat. One on my hands was so cold I could not move it and had to pry my fingers off the boom with my other hand.
