dr cam (16004km):  5 categories      Michaelmas Reef X fire 105 Venom 44 RSR E2 8.6 then (after fin box demolished) ISO 117 S10 43 E2 8.6 Totally frustrating day AHHHRRr Kept on hitting reef.Always a risk when checking out new territory. Had to find a spare board ~15mins into my 1st session after destroying the X fire fin box .Meant a 2hr round trip to GI to collect the ISO 117 . Left the 8.6 in the water attached to an anchor expecting it to be easy to find on our return -wrong .After knocking off the Mercruiser alpha leg skeg on a bommie we managed to beach to boat on top of another pile of rubble ...MMmmm Not good . Eventually got onto the run at 320pm after leaving home at 900 am. Wind 13-18 SSE Kel had a better time !! He's the numbers man today ....

Kel (13168km):  3 categories  QLD, AU Michelmas reef day with Cam, really nice day sailing over the reef flats and on the reef edge, beutiful clean water and consistant 15kts all day. Used 2012 Isonic 107, superfast 39 and overdrive 7.5 Thanks for day Cam! Next time you can follow me across the reef!! | ||||||||||||||||||
