Sweet, did it again.Tongue out

Down to the river at 10.30, rigged the 7.5 watching Grumby sail. Visit from Obi to motivate me.

Was a decent wind to start with, then slowly built. Was quite choppy and hard to find the gusts but had some great runs bearing away towards Peli point, on one of those got 31.56 and a 30.5 5x10. After an hour or so wind really picked up so changed down to the 6.5 and 38 fin but was a bit over done with the 111. was the only board in the car.

A few hairy moments with the board taking off on me but came out of it not hurt and no damageSmile

Very happy with the speed and the gybe getting close to the 20 now.

Col was out and lucky to survive a crash with another sailor but board took a bit of a hit and needs a bit of repairingSurprised

Melville Beach, WA, AU Falcon 111 and the new lightweight 101,Reflex 7.0 and 6.2. Found out the hard way G10 is indeed stronger  than carbon fibre and foam. Had a little mishap today. Was racing against Paul and as we neared the sand bar where the usual 1 metre high chop builds up, I thought to myself Hmmm  nasty chop dont stuff this up because Paul is close by, 3 or 4 metres off to my right and behind me (I was in front of course Wink) and what happened ? the chop caught me out the board flared and over I went, leaving nowhere for Paul to go except into me.  We both surfaced,no blood or splattered brains and no damage to his gear. The carbon fibre and foam airbag saved me this time.Embarassed

My board - nothing a little Steve Stratfold magic cant fix as far as my pride no amount of filler can fix that.

Left the GPS on for the ride home. Had a 47 on the dial woohoo but that was in the car. Results taken from GPS results.com. My usual speeds as usual.
