Rod (2664km): sailed at mandura with Tom and Mike wind was gusty and had a few holes but nice to get out on the water Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU
Decrepit (22059km): Creepy Crawly with Tom Rod and Paul, gusty up and down wind, nice and flat close to shore, but wind all over the place. I used the 5.0 on the 48 with the 19cm 45 woody weedy. still a bit wary of being overpowered, new it was going to be a bit on the small side. Was enough out of the wind shadow, but the 53 and 6.0 would have copped much better in the lulls. Came in to change up and had a minor low speed catapult in the gusty near shore conditions, decided to give it a miss, hope conditions tomorrow are a bit nicer.
Tomski (6938km): Peel + Safety Bay, WA
Morning session on the estuary with the lads. Vey gusty, but a nice sail all the same.
Late arvo at the beaver with Uncle Stoppo. Hour session of tacking and gybing practice. Really enjoyed a bit of competitive, underpowered S#@T stiring session. Cheers Stroppo
STROPPO (3471km): Fun sail at saftey bay in a light wind was well under powered on the 5.8 but had a good time with tom this was one of those days were the conditoins were light so we hadto make up for it by just having fun most times tom went past me he gave me a rail full of spray i tried tacking which i hadnt done for a few years happy to make some most of my outer gybes were duck gybes which were allright being that i was on a cambered race sail a classic day of why i love sailing so much thanks Tom for the entertainment and well done Rod on your m/n pb great effort bic techno 66 tr4 5.8 jp36 weedy happy days |
