Albany, WA, AU

tuning session first on JP45 SP  EvoIII 6.2 PEPE speed weed 23 then JP54 Pepe speed weed 28

Alpha slowed by dragging fin in weed. I think I need to work on the downhaul to go faster. Quite gusty but flat water, warm wind

Nice cruisy day from cockies pt, started with the 5.0 on the 48 with the 19cm woody weedy, bit underpowered, (was a bit windier whilst rigging, was tunning for a hopeful gust). Changed to the 6.0 after lunch but silly me didn't change fins, I was fine in the gusts, but struggled in the lulls. Sorry Sam, would have been a better hr with a bigger fin.

LG - Live's Good - 7.30 AM was boiling the coffee water and doing some business in the bush when I heard a car flying in, slow down, then carry on.. 1 min later Jamie appears Surprised, ah ah ah, could not believe it, he was all pumped up ready to go, I said slow down boy I need my coffee and cereal first..

Anyway he took me on the other side of the lake straight through the dry lake, he said its blowing a touch better here... What ever he said a just follow.. We mesure about 15-18 knts, (had later some nice little bullets lasting about 30s, if you could catch it good for you). So he setup 5.8 and 90L.. I just follow up did the same. It wasnt the perfect condition (more front wind, gusty shifting), at 9.15 Jamie was gone I followed at 9.30. Still no butter smoove water but this wld have to be I of my best session for long time. Absolutly awesome time, so good and pleasant you wld not stop. Thanks again Jamie for the great time.. Mike and Mal joined the party shortly after and we all sailed till 15+.

I finaly enjoyed the 55, it was the last one of the 3 boards I had not really pleasure with.. but today that board was just fantastic on every jobs, the absolute jybing machine, evrey jybe was so pleasurable, I had a faaaaaking ball Cool, and even managed a PB on marginal condition, thats the cherry Tongue out

Anyway the wind was sometime just enough, sometime good, but after a while I learned to read and feel the condition and was planning all the time

Some of the suspects today, hard live I recon!!

Herby had another go, good on you Herb Wink

After 220kss I thought that was it, he had enough.... no he just come to change sail to get whats left of the wind!! Surprised Well done Jamie on the great performance and your 10.000 kssssssss Cool

Maybe 11knts left outhere!!!

Happy Days Cool

Misty55, RSR5.8 (really shld have used 6.2!), 250/40SS
