Sail at Shoe Makers today, Couldn't get my rigging right though.  First tried JP 134 and Gaastra GTX 7m, no good in gusts too overpowered.  Changed to T1 RS 59, fin too small, came back put a bigger fin on, still too small, rig too heavy and too big in the gusts.  wind was anywhere from 5 to about 20kts?  Picking up towards end, but I'd had it.  Others doing well, but won't steal there thunder.  and Congrats to Pepe first Gybe!!!!!!!!!Cool Cool Man!!!!!

Had same prob as Hardy, wasn't really comfortable all day, tried all sorts of stuff but nothing quite did it.

Bender didn't help by flying past me and waving good bye as he went off into the distance!!!!

Got my best speed in the last session on my speed board with the tushy 6.0, but the 20cm weedy is a tad small for this sail, must finish off the 22cm that's in the pipe line.

Great to have a good crowd there today, especially crasher's first team sail

F2 SX M with X15 6.4m and the wonderful 34cm bentonic weed fin(previous life a 52cm Techtonic mirage pointer).

Most enjoyable day. Nothing too special. Suprised at my alpha as gybing was tricky in the chop.

Tried my other kit breifly but this combo is just too nice.

just checked my data and yes my PB of 23.657 alhpa was dodgy. Bugger!!!!!!!

JP Supersport Pro 118L, NP RS Slalom II 7.2m, JP G10 Freeride Weed 36cm.

Out at Cobblers with all the crew, had all good intentions of trying a bit of distance sailing, did a run out the back of the platform and realised that something wasn't right with my hand, couldn't grip the boom on the way back, ended up having to hook my wrist over the boom to put some back hand on the boom, saile dmost of the session like that, bloody inconvenientCry.

Was fun going head to head with Bendyman who was doing his best to keep me honest all day and made me push that much harder to saty ahead.

The 7.2 and the supersport was awesome for most of the session, till it got to much to try and hang on to, changed down to 6.7m and SX M but the wind eased back after a while, Ye olde Sexxy was sweet in da choppy bits though.

Fun but could have done without the pain.

Congrats to Bendy and Steve for the PB'sCool

A fantastic sesion with many from the mob plus other very welcome sailors.

Longest run 8,76 kms on Google earth

77 N miles on Isonic 105, JP 36 seaweed and 6.5 Tush Raptor. Many thanks Bender for the loan of the board and finCool

Initally not enough wind, plenty of holes and a few gusts. The Isonic went on to show itself to be absolutely tremendous, leaps onto the plane easily, stays on the plane, handles chop brilliantly, handles being overpowered and ridden by a sailor of low competence and just goes fast!!!CoolSmileSurprised

After being flatted with the 6.5 I came in, went out again because the Isonic was so good then came in and changed down to 5.7 Raptor and F2 Ride 277. Completely underpowered, cold and generally aching and knackered I gave up after a few runsFrown. Had I stayed ion the Isonic I would have still been flying after a restEmbarassed

All in all a great day although the water was cold and I got cramp in my arms and hands when I came in.

And a PB for the 1 hour.... gotta be happy with that!Cool

Hey Pepe,

In Realspeed select the point that corresponds to you getting into the car (on the bottom right hand panel), then shift-click all the points below it and press delete.  Voila you get all the numbers for your session Cool

I hope the boys got some decent distance today...

When I came in Decrepit seemed a little dissapointed as he was ready to continue. I was ready to curl up in a small ball and groan for a while and did not go out because I fel as though I could find myself in the water unable to waterstart due to fatigue!.Frown

I think the points go to the Bendyman today, apart from having the best alpha, he's got his name on 5 of the 6 results, and he only missed out on the 6th by half a knot.

Bender, make sure you hide your previous tracks otherwise your newest won't show.  Bit of a bug in Google Earth.

Others, yes I had a lovely day, but am considering having a 'sickie' today Wink

Congratulations to Evets for the PB, and everyone else for putting us second!  Well done team Laughing

and all the rest for the good effect Cool

I wished I be there with you all..

Now, Bender I think your problem with google earth is just a matter to move the top right slidder litely to right until reaching the correct date. I think by default it keep in memory all the session

cheers boys

ps. I am getting wet here but not in the same way Frown
