I need someone to repair my beloved SP50,CryCryCryCryCryCryCry

Suffered my highest speed wipeout ever, doing 34 to zero in about 5 trackpoints, had a rail dig before I could get off board fully resulted in my heel smashing into the rail at mast track area and now have a busted UJ and several nasty looking splits in the board also limping thanks to my foot and board coming off about equal, somehow got my right arm involved too as it is hurting as well.

Thanks to Jason for coming over to check if I was ok after tha spray had settled.

Other than that Todays session was CoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmileCoolSmile

Lunch time on the balcony, seabreeze was a 100m from the reef line, Told Mal, "it'll be at the estuary in half hour, should be just right by the time we finish lunch".

Huh!!!! 2 hrs later it's still on the reef line. Thinking seriously of joining Adam at SB. Can't contact Sam or Adam, (Adam I need you phone number).

Hardie checks Novara and finds Sam there, with wind.

By the time I get there winds died a bit, so start rigging the 6.0 and thommen, meanwhile pepe's gone out woth a 6.5 and is now looking very overpowered, as the winds picked back up.

packed the thommen and 6.0 away and put the 5.4 on the 48, by the time we were ion the water, wind had dropped off again. Ecpecting it to come back, went to alpha land anyway.

Got a few decent gusts, but wind dropped after a while and it was a real effort getting back.

Every body downrigged and packed away except Sam, who was waiting for the 6pm blast, came in right on cue, left him out there flying around.

Frustrated at first as the wind keep playing and had a sh..t sail, then decieded to wait to 18.30 for the wind to swing... smart move! at 18.15 it did Cool. Choppy as but I had a ball, cleared my anger away Wink good on you yoyo for sticking around Cool, he came back with a BIG smile on his face LOL. I Pushed the board and fin to the extrem every run, doing downwinders dead square to one foot chop... it never let me go! Dave went to the flat stuff but I did not dare to, he recon I could have punch some 37s.. It was definitly windy and the 5.8 was a full hand!!

End up been great fun... used same gear all day, amazed by the range of the setup!! Few time the fin did felt like it was going to spin, I realised when taking the fin out the board I had a plastic spacer at the back of the box sticking out about 10mm Surprised, all arvo I though I was catching weed, doing mini jump try to clear... it was the spacer!! I cant believe the stability of the fin Laughing

Nice to catch up with the boys and Mal from VIC

spewing about the board... Looks like safety bay has been getting good wind this summer. We have been getting a lot of seabreezes that are dying off before they reach the coast this summer. I guess Safety Bay is sticking out far enough to get into the wind line. Might have to come and play one day Tongue out

Don't come to SB slowy you will only upstage meWink

Safety Bay has not been immune to the weird winds this summer, it is often dying from about 5 oclock onwards, today was another one of those days, when I left even the kites were struggling with the best having been between 3:30 and 4:30
