Elmo (15665km): JP Slalom VI 65cm, JP RSS Mk IV 7.8m, JP Weed 36cm How far Ken Good for that Dawn patrol Monster Fun Got down there a bit later than Bender and Evets who were ripping around, texted some of the other boys and rigged based on what would be needed to get back when the inevitable would happen and the easterly would fade. Fortunately the it didn't fade for ages, in fact the 7.8 was rocking hard a few times accross Cox bay when we got some decent bullets but most of the time it was sweet as Finally got this wee puppy sussed. Played around a fair bit in Cox bay but was getting a bit peeved with the weed in the gybe area, so had a chat with Evets and Pepe and we made the move over to the other side of Ward point to Decrepit-YoyoLand. Oh Wilbur I thought my face was aching before from all the smiling, Decrepit-YoyoLand was awesome played around there for over an hour and had a ball, I had better speeds in the bay but it was just so nice, we all had big "shit eating grins". Pepe an Evets were having an awesome battle with a Poofteenth in it, both tweeking to get that last little whisker of speed Both looked like they had it dialed with boards floating nicely over the small chop. Eventually Bender came over to suss out where we were playing, unfortunately not long after he turned up the wind faded so we all did one more run and went for a good burn back. What an awesome way to start the day, great sailing great mates

Pepe47 (7101km): 105 rocket, 6.6m koncept, 35cm pepeweed. Got down about 7:15 to see Evets and Elmo sorting out a few tweaks with Bender rigging also. Went across to the point with Elmo and Evets and just had a ball. Got pipped by the greyhound once again but couldn't stop smiling regardless. Went on to do a few more k's but the wind turned a bit patchy in the early arvo. Amazed at the amount of wildlife in the water that early. 1st day without finding limestone
